As I was absolutely new to acting this was a great place to get a taste of what acting involves. During my 'Beginners Module' I was taught be different teachers and I can truly say the teachers in Darlo Drama are really interested in helping each student developing themselves as an actress and actor - but also as a person.
Its a very warm, friendly and save atmosphere at Darlo Drama, which was very important to me as I was a true beginner. At the same time its very professional. Teachers at Darlo Dram know their stuff ans introduce you to different acting techniques.
Classes at Darlo Drama are fun but also very challenging and your are constantly being encouraged to step out of your comfort zone.
One thing I also truly enjoyed at Darlo Drama: At the end of each module students perform publicly on stage a the wonderful Eternity Playhouse in Darlinghurst.
A great intimate spot to watch quality theatre. Just a shame they don't have a proper bar as such.
