Great atmosphere within the theatre. Staff friendly and helpful.

I have only been in the bar once on my travels through Cumbernauld & I would recommend this place as a great experience to see how people lived in the 18th century how quaint the locals are!!!

Absolutely loved this little theatre, we went to watch a Christmas Carol and thought it was superb, my first visit but would definitely go back.

Pantomime was great, seating very good nd sounds good, clean toilets. Price for drinks and confectionery very reasonable

Pantomime was brilliant this year such a shame that this will be the last time in the cottage building

A wee bit run down but had a great time here, staff were lovely

Excellent venue apart from the tight car park and the approach road. Helpful pleasant staff and a terrific pantomime ( particularly if you are four years and nine months old, like my granddaughter who loved it

Loved the Cinderella show it was great for kids and the cast were amazing and it was very nostalgic as I used to go here with the school it's a shame the theatre is being closed soon

Can be nice little snug, close seating for theatre.

Lovely bar with character and lovely people. Lots of entertainment on throughout the year in the theatre. Apparently its closing soon. Such a shame. A great venue in a historic building.

Excellent venue for small children as all seats are close to the show stage.

louise and lesley are the best staff i may have ever met in my life. All staff are good but these two are different gravy. Always feel at home and in general just an alround good gaff.

Sadly this was the last acoustic performers session before closure. Great get together. Old cottage theatre is part of the fabric of growing up in cumbernauld

Great intimate theatre. Friendly, helpful staff with a relaxed atmosphere to the place. Great shows for kids are a regular feature here and we've enjoyed many high quality pieces being performed. Well worth getting added to their mailing list to be kept up to date with what's coming up on the schedule.

Excellent varied events for International Women,s Day. Good to see theatre pieces and music from high school + boys and girls. Thanks to those who funded it.

This little gem has a cosy atmosphere, I've seen a couple of shows here and was impressed at their use of space and the effort they put into the shows.

Love Cumbernauld Theatre...will be really sad when it moves to it's new building. Hope it doesn't lose its cost charm.

Well worth a visit. The experience at this venue allows you to see the whites of there eyes.. that being the performers.. and a decent ale only enhances the experience. Though was informed that the theatre was moving

Road in and out needs addressed. Too narrow and twisty. Apart from that no problem

A little bit out of the way but minutes away from the motorway or the village main street and would definitely visit again

Went to Little Shop of Horrors lovely wee theatre sad it's getting pulled down.

Great wee cottage theatre. Nice friendly staff plus wee bar inside and waiting area with sofas and fireplace. They are Moving to Cumbernauld high shortly once it's been built. You can phone them and they will send you programme out.

Lovely theatre, had a nice beer before the show and then thoroughly enjoyed Sister Act. Great costumes, terrific acting and powerful singing plus I had the perfect seat right next to the stage. A great afternoon out.

Excellent place to go to. Go there every Christmas with the kids always a great show kids love getting the flashy wands. Shame this year will be the last before it moves

Parking is a nightmare and car park and entrance road full of pot holes, had to park in the undergrowth on the approach to the theartre and my friend fell in a pothole becausecthere were no lights on and we couldn't see where we were goin

Seating is around the stage and all have a great view of the acts. Staff house excellent and staff at the bar . Would recommend.

Loved the ABBA show . Every seat in this theatre is a great seat it's terrific

Absolutely love here! The intimacy of the auditorium is amazing. My 3 daughters all attend drama classes here and their confidence has really developed. The staff are friendly and helpful. Disabled access is a bit of a nuisance if taking part in a show but as its an older building its t be expected. Really gutted that the theatre will be relocating to the new high school but excited to see what will develop.
Prices for shows are really reasonable, panto every year is amazing and drinks are cheap. All in all a great time out

I highly recommend going to the panto here. It's always fun and family friendly.
The bar is open most nights if you are looking for a local pub, it's always a nice spot.
There is wheelchair access and audio description for some shows too.
The staff are fantastic and always happy to help.
The place is like Dr Who's tardis, much bigger on the inside. I don't know how they pull off this voodoo, but it's actually a good sized venue.
