I have a son that is 14. hes at that age where he knows everything. and i have no clue what to do with him. he dont care about anything anymore. im just looking for someone who could help me put him on the right path in life once again. Thank you
In 1950-1954 it was one of the finest high schools in the country. Attending my 50th reunion a few years back; l believe it still is--------Go Culver!! Also one of the most beautiful campuses!
Culver Academies is impossible to describe. One must visit this stunning campus, experience some of the mind boggling facilities, meet staff members, and speak with students to get just a taste of to education and opportunities offered here. What other high school is invited to participate in Presidential Inaugural Parades time after time? What other school has such strong support from their alumni? I can't think of any stronger endorsement than graduates willing to endow scholarships so young people can benefit from Culver as they have. I think back on my 4 years at the Academy and am constantly amazed and grateful that my parents sacrificed so much so that I could attend. With all my heart I encourage you to visit.
Amazing Campus. It prepares teens for college. It's summer camps are amazing.
Culver is an excellent place forYoung people to experience the finest education in Academics and sports. Builds character and future leaders for the business world as well as a stepping stone for leaders in the military. Excellent Educators !!!
At the time I went to the summer camp program, I was 14 years old and hated almost all aspects of it. I felt like I didnt fit in and the people and staff didnt seem equipped to help with it. I met people from all over the world but also got the feeling they came from money and if you didnt come from money or your didnt already know their family then you were treated as "lower class". When I look back, it is true that it helped prepare me for the real world because unfortunatly that is exactly how our world works.
The summer programs were great, I went for horsemanship & rifle range. My brothers took sailing, rifle, scuba, soccer. We all had a great time. Met kids from all over the world.
In short, one of finest, most prestigious international boarding High Schools on this globe. Amazing, pristine, 1860 acres campus, bordering lake Max, with the finest, State of the Art sports, dance, theater, fine arts and riding facilities. My daughter loved her time at Culver Academies, making life-long friends. Culver also opened the doors for the top colleges for her and full scholarships to Ivy League. The education is outstanding. Culver will always be home for her.
Those who gave Culver a terrible review - clearly they didn't belong there, couldn't live up to the schools extremely high scholastic standards and ethic requirements. Culver is for winners, not for losers nor is it for druggies and trouble makers. They won't last long.
Yes, Culver's admission requirements are tough. Students have to earn the privilege to attend or earn one of the many amazing full scholarships. Culver also offers generous financial aid to outstanding, deserving and need based students. Ca. 32% receive financial aid, 30K on average. I'm a single, disabled parent. Without a full scholarship, Culver would've been out of reach. Thank you Culver!
Amazing place, as my Dad attended from 1949-1953, and it has stayed in his heart ever since. A recent visit showed many changes, adding girls, facilities and programs for growing young minds and bodies.
