They did an amazing job for my sister's wedding. Food was fantastic! The Chicken and waffle sliders were a huge hit as was the Cru Lime pie. Highly recommend them.

As a Charleston native, I had been familiar with Cru Catering for a long time. I had always heard they were the best of the best in catering. I never realized how good they really were until our tasting. They absolutely blew us away with the quality of their food - five stars! We wanted to do something different than stations, so we went with a family style dinner. The service and the food were impeccable! Top two favorites were definitely the beef short ribs and mini tacos. Our guests couldn t stop raving about them.

Jenna ensured that my husband and I were well fed during the reception. After we finished photos, she followed us with a tray of appetizers and drink! She truly made us feel so special! I can t recommend Cru enough. You will not regret your choice!

As a professional wedding DJ in Charleston who gets around to a lot of weddings and has tasted a lot of different food from many caterers, I can say that Cru produces some very delicious food, and always has a professional staff too.

Hands down the best Charleston catering company. I am a photographer and I have shot their food 100's of times. Looks and shoots great! Very professional and well-groomed catering team. They have the resources to make you relax knowing your event is taken care of. Not like others that just have one shady van or prep in a small kitchen. No, they have a 10,000 square foot kitchen that is crazy clean and tons of staff all behind the scenes making it happen. So cool.

AMAZING! Anyone that has eaten at Cru Cafe knows how incredible their food is and their catering is NO exception! Everything was so amazing, everyone was raving about the food and the service at our wedding! They paid special attention to my groom and I all night and it was all so amazing! They offer plenty of options and there was DEFINITELY something for everyone! We had a plated salad and then a buffet for the remainder of the food, which was all amazing and it was a great choice to have the plated salad so people could enjoy that before heading to the buffet! We also had Cru do our desserts and they were INCREDIBLE!! We had planned at first to get a cake and dessert elsewhere but after our tasting, we decided we couldn't resist the mini desserts that Cru offers and that was a GREAT decision for us. We had three different kinds of Macaroons and two other mini desserts and our guests LOVED everything! They also sent us to our hotel on our wedding night with a SIZEABLE to-go bag packed with a LOT of leftover food for us to enjoy for the next few days! I can't say enough incredible things about Cru and would recommend them to anyone in a HEARTBEAT! Could not have hoped for anything better!!

I can't say enough great things about this company and their service. They catered our May wedding and it was the best part of our whole experience. The tasting was super fun and fully representative of how our day would go. The service throughout the whole experience was top notch. Cru helped us craft the tastiest menu that was able to reach all of our guests. We set our budget and they really helped us get the most for our money. Every time we talk about our wedding, we end up raving about the catering service all over again. Everything tasted so amazing on the day of, just as it did at the tasting! PERFECTION!

CRU is THE BEST FOR WEDDINGS. Leading up to the wedding Jenna worked with our event rental to make sure we had sufficient glassware/tables etc as our numbers changed. The food was amazing, the staff was SO NICE. We could not have been more pleased thank you so much to your entire staff!

Clean kitchen, and the employees are friendly and professional.

We just had our tasting with Cry and it was fantastic. The food is amazing and the staff is so fun. There isn't a single bad thing to pick from. Hardest decision to make is what to cut from the menu.

I have used Cru Catering for a large event and for a small dinner party. At both events, the food and service were exceptional. Chef Elliott Menke is phenomenal. He made my husband s birthday party unforgettable from the appetizers to the poached pear dessert. The assistant chef, Tom Shaw, was also great, as were the event coordinator, Beth Lewis, the server, Audrey Padula, and Kristen Pentland, the Catering Director. Everyone went above and beyond their roles and exceeeded our expectations. They were all very professional and nice. (Chef Menke s food at the wedding was deemed the best wedding meal ever by many of our guests.) I highly recommend Cru for any size event.

Ohhhhh my. We used Cru to cater our wedding. For weeks I kept getting attendees tell me how much they liked the food! I agree, it was great. Of course I was very busy all night and didn't get to sit down much and enjoy it. I keep telling my wife I hope someone else we know uses them for a wedding so we can experience it again! haha

CRU - the whole team and every member are rock stars! We had a destination wedding at the Cotton Dock at Boone Hall - so the whole kitchen had to be created, set up and in full operation under a pop up tent in the parking line. The CRU team killed it! Best execution of a caterer i have ever used. From helping with menu selection, tasting lunch of every dish, creating my own family recipes, speciality bar selection and speciality drinks, cocktail hours specialty drink, Full Out Pig Souther Pig Roast with all the sides, Amazing mac and cheese, amazing selection of appetizers, fresh local caught and sustainable pan seared fish, steak and truffle frites, hand passed shucked oysters, specialty small desserts and the wedding cake! the team of chefs and the CRU staff was amazing, accommodating, professional and very responsive to all our requests and criticisms. They were willing to change recipes to accommodate our tastes and desires. CRU is definitely the number on pick for caterer. Hands down a spectacular job!

Jill Christy and the staff at Cru Catering did the most amazing job for my Daughter Ashton and her groom Eric this past weekend at Founder's Hall. The wedding was a superhero themed wedding and the amount of planning and preparation from every little detail to calming the mother of the bride, Jill did the most amazing job! I wanted to thank all of you who were involved in participating in the dream wedding for Ashton and Eric . It was a beautiful event, the food as nothing but AMAZING! People are still talking about how good it was. The staff was GREAT! Thank you, this day we will remember all our lives. I would recommend Cru for any event! 10 thumbs up!
