Had a wonderful kayaking trip with Christine on the Coastal Explorer Tour. It is a great opportunity for inexperienced people like myself and family to get out on the water and enjoy kayaking. I felt safe and confident with our tour guide leading the way!
Once arrived to the docks they asked me to pay (even if I paid online).
Even if I asked for a two persons boat, they gave me a one person.
Me and my friend were so sad. Major rip off.
Have had a membership to use their keel boats two years in a row. Great facility. Great people. Wide option of ways to get out on the water! We're lucky to have them!
Hassle free experience while booking a Bioluminescence Kayaking Tour. Tour guides Kristin, Harry and Alec were helpful and a blast to go out on the water with. The kayak education and safety information was very thorough and made me feel confident during the tour. Highly recommend!
The staff there is so friendly that I want to go rent their boats everyday. Sometimes they will go sailing with you, too!
Very helpful and resourceful. I stayed on the linear footage gratis to run an errand. Bring ding. Man these guys are great, and so is fircrest. Took the bus and the drivers were great. Great tofu in town. Wierd convo guy on bus lol, but the wonderful lil lady from the 1940s was a blast to bus chat. Back to the sunset. Oh my, and a dog bar next door with the train station here too. Best spot in town and much more right here. I haven't had a lesson yet here and look foreward to going out with the private session. I see a group go out tonight so casual, and an hour later they are whipping around where the wind surfers play.canoetopia, Cheers mariners
I took a private paddle board lesson from Jesse and it was everything I was hoping for. They had all the gear and equipment I needed and I learned the basic skills and safety rules I needed to get started when my board arrived. He was even super patient and kind when I got seasick and barfed on their board. I'm so glad I took the time for class. I was able to get on my board and go out with some confidence when it arrived. Thanks Jesse, I do love this as much as I was hoping.
Nice and helpful staff, reasonable rates. I'll be back!
The only water craft access for the greater Bellingham community; affordable rentals of paddle boards, kayaks and sailboats.
Great assortment of boats to rent in a fabulous spot. I've done rentals and done a few group paddles (HIGHLY recommend the bioluminescence paddle!) and all of the staff have been friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Really fun activity.
Great place with a public boat ramp off the beaten path. Also a nice protected anchorage in the bay out front.
Take sailing classes, or rent a sailboat for the day at the Community Boating Center. There is public parking down there, and there is also a public boat launch.
This is a great place to have in town, all sorts of cool watercraft and a great location in fairhaven
Great place for public access to boats and boating education. Sailing, Sea Kayaking and Rowing.
Spent a decent amount on a season pass and 1/3 of the time we've been sent home because of the safety boat issue. Would be nice to see a bit of compensation for this.
I love this place. Friendly people, good rates. The season passes are a great deal.
