In a very Parisian neighborhood,
The Pompidou Center offers many cultural exhibitions all year round.
Its architecture is very particular.
I recommend going to the top to have a nice view of Paris.

Even at first glance, it is out of place with the gorgeous old city of Paris with a complete urban plan. However, in this building, exquisite modern art works are displayed, and it is not only the hardware and the content, but also the buskers on the square in front of it. , the vibrant store market in the Marais district makes this area's travel experience full of fun
The entrance should be directly on the fifth floor, first on the first floor, if you are a fan of modern art, Gauguin, Picasso, Martyce, Blak, Paul Klee, Zao Wou-Ki, Picasso, Miro, Kang Dinsky and Chacarlo are the treasures of the museum. Blue No. 2 is also here. The museum is bright and concise. Although the line of movement has always made me a bit unclear, it is definitely an unmissable sight.

The guide advised us not to go inside. She said that pretentious and blowing boredom. But the building is interesting but the figures in the fountain next to it also make an impression.

Srangely beautiful building. A must see on its own. Expos are usually worth the visit

Nice museum if you are interested in modern art. I suggest to follow also the temporany exhibitions dedicated to photography.

I got a discount on Youth and had a free visit to the museum.
The exhibit seemed to cost around 10 euros each.

I'm standing in line, but I'll be right there.
It's amazing. I think I just had a good time.
It looks like there are a lot of facilities to be building.
(Restaurants, libraries, exhibition floors, etc.)
It would be nice if you can find out and try it out!

I'm not normally a fan of modern art, but I enjoyed my visit here.

Modern art collection is varied and well curated. Contemporary art was...interesting. the gift store inside the museum (4e floor) has numbered prints for sale. Boutique shop in the main entrance has a lot of good stuff.

Best museum I ve ever visited as far as the diversity and curation of the art. Devote at least a half day to spend here for a full and well rounded experience. Sadly I had to rush through a portion of the museum because I wasn t aware that it was so vast. Also it s not extremely crowded because of the size of the museum so you can get lost and and really enjoy the art.

Superb but buy a ticket in advance to avoid the queues both outside and inside!

The inside of the hall is very large and you can see many works.

The architecture of the building is atypical, on the top floor you can enjoy a nice view of Paris! However, I was disappointed with the permanent exhibitions, plus the museum is really big ... and therefore I did not find the choice of exhibitions to be harmonious ...
It was to be done, but I won't be going back anytime soon!

It was amazing! You know how I complain that in some museum / historic place here in France have their description of ab items all written in french right? But here at the centre pompidou is also written in English so you can understand every beautiful pictures of art. It have every thing a family can enjoy kids are not left out! Take a day and enjoy and appreciate art in this beautiful place

Museum is on one side of the building, there's a library on the other side, cinema, food area, shops, play area for children. The exhibits are beautiful, top floor has a restaurant and beautiful view of the of city as well.

It's one of my favorite places in Paris, but... The stairs to up doesn't work and the lady in the restaurant doesn't let me to take pictures...

Another thing, I couldn't by my ticket on internet in any option. I was in Amsterdam until yesterday and I could pay all my tickets with PayPal. But here, they don't have the option and when I introduced my credit card I couldn't understand the error, it was a message from the server in HTML.

Amazing collection but I am concerned about the infestation of gibbons on the 5th floor outer gallery. Visitors beware.

Very inspiring place, with different types of arts.

In place to do absolutely in Paris for all art lovers. A beautiful and very rich collection, temporary exhibitions of very good quality. The top floor offers magnificent views of Paris. A rooftop restaurant and a shop, bookstore are available.

Exceptional museum/collection. Not easy to navigate

Little disappointed to see its smaller size than expected but, its contents are much wider, vast and versatile than its physical size.

This is incredible place for lovers of Modern Art. The building itself is example of modern architecture and I personally can spend quite a bit of time just looking at the building. When you get inside all the exhibits will definitely take your breath away. And don't forget to enjoy the views of Paris when you take escalator.

skip the line pass line was fast and so worth it, this was our first stop on our museum tour, fun art and not overly crowded , if you're making a short visit this should be on your must see list

Maybe I was just unlucky. I found the current exhibits boring and the collection a bit lacking. The current exhibition "Vasarely" was no different than opening up your facebook page. I see those kind of gimmicky optical illusions whenever some friend rediscovers them. Besides that it was not exactly immersive or ground breaking, it didn't inspire me to think about anything I haven't already thought and the experience was just flat. I hoped I might find Mutations/Creations more interesting, but there was just so much reading and the works really can't stand on their own, you have to know the backstory to each one in order to get kind of satisfaction out of the visuals. It is a pity because the Museum came highly recommended. It was also very busy and uncomfortable. The view was great.

It's worth spending the whole day here. In addition to magical expositions and paintings, you will find the amazing architecture of the museum, which raises you to the height of a bird's flight. Before you, the whole of Paris is like in the palm of your hand.

Pretty nice museum with great collection of modern art.

We didn't have time to get in, but the building is really impressive and definitely a must see if you're in the area! If you want to visit the library and modern art museum, be sure to check peak times, because the line can get pretty huge.

One of the great modern and contemporary museums of the world. The collection is well worth checking out, but even the building is a modern icon and fun to see

Beautifully confusing building with great artwork. If you have tickets, enter on the plaza side. If you need to purchase tickets, join the huge line that starts on the street side. If you're not already familiar with the Centre, Prime Minister, or building's history, I suggest reading up a bit about it in advance to have more of an appreciation for it. However, it's not necessary. It's still a great place.

can't say whether i like it or not. the outside is striking and fascinating. i came on a tuesday and it was closed... why do museums close?

My favorite museum in all of Paris, & my favorite modern art museum (although the MET may be tied)
It is a Modern Museum in an incredibly unique building.

I would suggest taking the escalators straight to the top floor, & taking in the sites - you can see all of Paris from here, even the hill of Montmartre. Quite beautiful.
This floor dedicated to revolving exhibits, which is always quite an interesting experience to take in.
There is a restaurant on the top floor, where if you eat there, you can go out on their terrace & enjoy the view (if you're not dining, you cannot go on their terrace).

Go one floor down & explore the incredible collection they have of modern artist from the past.
They allow you to take photos of the art on this floor, (no flash) so document your favorites!
There is also a great balcony to the right, when you first arrive on this floor, where you can go out & take some incredible photos without the glass in the way. The restaurant terrace previously mentioned would be directly above you, so prime spot for photos!

Then go down one floor below, & explore their collection of the current modern art of our time.

All in all, this is a wonderful museum that I would highly suggest any lover of more modern art to visit.

Great place if you are into contemporary Modern Art

Ok, inside out classic museum. Looks a little run down and too much work going on in the main courtyard.

Great place in the centre of Paris where you will find different artists showing their pieces of modern art. Surrounded by lots of shops. A must if you are in Paris.

If you have one day in Paris, ditch the Louvre and go to this great museum. The temporary exhibits are hit-and-miss, but the permanent collection on the fifth floor is pure gold.

Mythical place superbly highlighted by its atypical architecture, regular quality exhibitions, currently under construction.

A big place, be prepared to cover a lot of ground, the exhibitions are well spread and set up. If you have time go up to the top floor and go outside onto the walkway that runs along one side, the views of Paris are well worth the effort.

Worthful pieces of modern and contemporary art! Great architecture and views inside the museum building. Adequate sitting/chiling areas and shops. strongly recommended!

In work at the moment, so we come back from behind, but the museum is still as phew. Now that they add a lot of content to their app, you can also prepare your visit in advance and avoid dropping money on the audioguides.

One of my favourite museums. The bookshop is great for presents .
And the quality of exhibitions is top top !!

Modern and contemporary galleries are fantastic! Some of exhibits attract you to touch them but beware of that! It offers almost mystical experience of seeing brush strokes of Dali or Chagall from just few centimeters! You can rest in a cave and there is planty of smell-art. The selection is great from funny provocateurs to industrial designers. I only miss Futurists, but otherwise the Pompidou Centre is very good choice to visit.

Tremendous collection of modern art here at La Musee National D Arte Moderne. We also enjoyed the fabulous views of Paris from the top of the building.

Huge, full of paintings in large and pleasant rooms. So many beautiful works that you can criticize and certainly the quantity you will find something to your taste. Too bad the route to get in and out with escalators is very hot ... I did it in August, it should be air conditioned.
