Central neurology PC

My husband, David, has major sleep apnea issues. Cheryl Busch, the Director of the Sleep Study department within Central Neurology is one of the most caring, professional, hard working, dedicated individuals I have ever met. Cheryl has HUNDREDS of patients..but, she treats you as though you are the only patient she has. I asked her how she remembers every phone call and issue that has come up over the past few years with David and she said simply... Because I care . A truly remarkable individual who cares deeply about each patient and making sure that the best care is given every step of the way. Central Neurology IS VERY LUCKY to have her on their team...and so are all of her patients.

Great doctors; great staff and overall great experience

We were referred here to see Dr. Diaz for my wife s dementia diagnosis. I had only wished we had visited Dr. Diaz years ago. I have never encountered a more empathetic, compassionate physician. She was so engaged and thorough during her examination of my wife. These days my wife has anxiety and depression from her worsening condition but Dr. Diaz really put her at ease.

I was equally impressed with the thorough examination for my wife and taking the time with us to gather all pertinent information and answer our questions. We were not rushed at all. The staff was very professional and courteous as well.

We are really thankful we found her.

Dr. Herrema is a true gem to anyone with a movement disorder. I have been to some of the best clinics in the world for my Parkinson s Disease, and have NEVER had a doctor more caring and genuine than she is. She has truly become my family s go to for anything related to this terrible disease. She spends her personal time with a local PD Support Group, and she might get mad at me for posting this, but she even took my call while at dinner with her hubby, celebrating her anniversary! Just don t be late to your appointment...;).

My daughter sees Dr.Ziemba and she always spends time listening to her. We have never had problems with appointments, refills or call backs. The office staff is professional. I have recommended the practice to others.

At first I like this place but after this year of putting my botox on hold because the doctor doesn't feel safe of me not wearing a mask. I got two letters one from my medical doctor and one from CDC excusing me from wearing a mask . I even suggested getting the covid test and if I tested negative would the doctor see me but she said no. You get only one star because of how you treated me on not understanding, why I couldn't wear a mask. I can understand if I tested negative you would let me see the doctor but since she doesn't want to risk her health then she shouldn't be a doctor then.

Dr. Diaz is phenomenal. She was very thorough and precise. I appreciated my consultation with her however, im not so pleased with the staff. My initial encounter with staff , I called the office for new pt. appt. I was told someone would call me back. No one did so I called back several days later, made the appt. I saw the Doc who ordered a Sleep apnea study and was told that someone would call me to set it up. No one called so, again I made contact with the office. I was told I would be called by the end of the week. Still no call. I will reach out to them again. I'm a lil exasperated . I know no office is perfect but its very off putting.

I have been a patient of Dr. Vasquez over ten years. My concerns regarding my health and medication are addressed timely. The staff is pleasant and considerate of my needs as a patient.Dr. Vasquez is thorough with my assessment and includes me in the decisions made regarding my care.

I am a Cluster Headache patient and had an appointment today for the return of my Cluster Headaches. I live in Bradenton and left with plenty of time to arrive 15 minutes early. During my drive a thunderstorm started and there was an accident on the Skyway Bridge. I arrived 8 MINUTES LATE...I was told by the receptionist that she would have to ask Dr. Bell if it was ok. He refused to see me even though the waiting room was absolutely empty. I am disgusted by the lack of compassion Doctors show and will never see him again. How do you turn a desperate person away???? How do you sleep at night???

I was referred to Central Neurology for a sleep study to determine if there was central nervous system involvement contributing to my apnea and poor response to treatment. All staff members have been professional, personable, knowledgeable, and caring. The resulting report was prepared quickly and forwarded expeditiously to my physician.
I highly recommend his practice to friends, family, and anyone seeking solutions for their neurological issues.
