Capitol Administrators, Inc.

Thankfully I don't have to deal with them anymore since I no longer work for the employer that had this insurance, but I'm still dealing with a claim from November 2018 that they for whatever reason will not pay, so I'm being billed for it. Every time I call, they say they have no record of it yet when I contact the place that is billing me they say they had been in contact with someone here but that they suddenly stopped responding to them so they had to bill me again. They have resubmitted the request a few times already and still nothing! Horrible service!!

Awful. I work in medical billing and they always tell me patients have no coverage when they do.

Seriously, THE WORST health insurance provider I've ever had. It's July 2018, and I'm still dealing with claims from 2016. I'd give them 0 stars if it were possible.

Denied coverage at the clinic despite having very good coverage. Currently forced to pay out of pocket for medical expensises, hopefully can be reimbursed later... often takes months or longer for then to communicate to my doctor.

Could be the worst run TPA ever , if your company is self insured your screwed by these jokers , administrators of denial and protecting the plan , agreed 0 stars, zero help from anyone, Cant believe Lucent would buy this looser

I had an awful experience when I was using this benefits administrator/carrier. My dentist submitted claims twice to them during the allotted/allowed timeframe. Capitol Administrators claims they never received either submission and refuses to cover the claim because now it is outside of the allotted time period, even though my dentist has proof of submitting the claims twice to them during the allowed timeframe. I spoke with a Capitol Administrators rep who was incredibly rude to me and stated that regardless of the proof, it was too late for them to cover the claim and that I would need to submit a claim with my new carrier. I've never worked with such a rude, incompetent benefits carrier, and I had several co-workers who also had horrible experiences with this group. Additionally, my doctors struggled to get timely responses from them and would often ask me to call them on their behalf to get movement on my claims. I would NOT recommend getting your benefits through this group.
