I was cleaning out a closet and found my Camp Tadmor badge from May 1979. I clearly remember this as one of my finest experiences. For once I was one of the group..a part of a team. I wasn't bullied or made fun of...this camp in 1979 made me feel like I mattered for the first time in my life. I remember crying as we left on the school bus...as I knew I would be going back to the life where I was nothing to anyone.

Beautiful place. Amazing nature! Great hikes and trails, rivers and lakes... I really found it to be magical. All the moss and mushrooms popping out everywhere! Very well maintained and taken care of. The bathrooms are decent and so are the showers.
There is a nice cafeteria on site and also a pretty sweet play room with pool tables and ping pong.
The staff were very helpful with allowing me to receive a few packages. All in all a very beautiful place. I would recommend it.

I went last year with the other fifth and fourth graders and I had an AWESOME time. The food is good and the activities available are all fun and exciting, especially for the kids like me. I would definitely recommend this place ! I m going again for me fifth grade year and I m really looking forward to it

This is the best place on Earth!! There s no possible way you could not have a great time. Unless of course you are rich, snobby and part of the 1 percent. If that s the case then Camp Tadmor is still the place for you. Take this as my personal guarantee and you can trust me, I go to McDonalds!!!

Tadmore is about 1 hr 45 minute drive from Portland. We went here on a retreat called Men's Roundup, a 2 day event put on by the Conservative Baptist Church. Somewhere around 1200 attendees came for worship, fellowship, epic ministry, teaching workshops, and lots of fun. There have been improvements done over the years and they're expanding the campground for more room. Even with 50 or so acres of RV parking, it got really crowded! Tadmore is perfect for a large gathering or event with dining hall, big chapel, full showers, cabins, event pavilions, a nice shooting range, lake Tadmore (a man made lake) . There's lots to do here. You can do tent camping and there's RV hookups too. There's lots of hiking trails close in as well, swim in the Santiam River, or bike. Lebanon is about 13 miles away if you need to resupply. Elevation is over 2000 feet, so it gets cold at night in late summer. A great place for a retreat!
