Great place for summer camp. Excellent leaders, well trained staff, nice selection of merit badges. Clean and well maintained. Food is excellent.
Great boy scout camp. Friendly and helpful staff. The best food you will find at any camp. Situated on Chautauqua lake. The waterfront offers swimming, rowing, motorboating, waterskiing, fishing, sailing, and more. They also offer tons of nontraditional merit badges, a great shooting sports facility, and great activities for the youth and leaders.
Off season offers Monster Mash camporee in October, Klondike derby, cub winter fun day, and much more.
Many troop rent the main building and cabins to take advantage of the great local skiing.
I know it's scout camp, and I don't expect glamping, but to provide a bunk without a mattress is tough to swallow. Sleeping with your sleeping bag on chicken wire ain't the key to a good night's sleep. At least put some plywood down, or if that is too much, how about some cardboard. Paid too much for this.
Absolutely awesome BSA campground!! Meals were great here!! Best Summer Camp food around!! I would encourage every troop to consider camping here for Summer Camp. They have a great younger boys program too!!
