I use to run my own hot shot truck, cactus was one of my customers. Some of the bad reveiws on here, sounds like new people who haven't been in oil feild very long. If you cant handle the brashness of some supervisors. Then the oil feild isnt for you, that being said. When i hauled loads for cactus from either yard to rig or rig to rig. Every person i dealt with, with the exception of a few who were having a really bad day. Were great. And even the ones who were having a bad day. Were great, the ones who were having a bad day. Usually seen the brashness after normal conversation and would apologize if their actions or words were out of line, either by accident or on purpose. People have to remeber that theses supervisors are resopnsible for the smooth operation of theses rigs and employees. And they are also resopnsible for every person on their location at all times. So if you dont or cant develope thick skin, the oil feild in general isn't for you. But as i sqid before. Every cactus drilling employee ive had the pleasure of doing buisness with was great. And i have ran in to some of them out side of the patch in my personal life as well and they still are really good people to be around. So the issues or negative reveiws are probably isolated incidents. This reveiw is from the out side looking in. As a service provider for cactus drilling
I was given the chance to work there with no experience in the oil field before and really enjoyed it !! I felt that they really do try to do their best for their employees

This company is not the one if your looking for a job! Not to mention don t have very good management. I was hired on as a Derrick hand and given a job to do. I do my job very well and efficient, but according to them not efficient enough. So after one hitch of working the bumped me back not telling me y they bumped me back till after the let me go from the company. I Would not recommend them for anyone to work at.
So far this place has been great to work for. They really are out to take care of their employees.
Largest private held land drilling company = "Happy Campers" that know exactly how valued they are. Also, in the industry locally, (TX, LA, OK) I have heard hard-working, intelligent, and strong people, who have been in "the patch" many years, express an interest in working for Cactus, eventually. I have never heard anything negative.
Cactus drilling deserves a 10 star rating. They go above and beyond with hard work, consistency, and an oil company we as a country can be proud of. They keep our workers and landowners safe with confidence in what they do. Our family has been with Cactus Drilling Company for over 2 years now and we are very proud and grateful to be apart of the oilfield industry. Thank you for what you do and keep up the great work!!!!
My husband went to work here and worked 3 month's straight with literally 2 weekends off,they laid him off after three months and promised a call back and never did they just hired new people and don't do what they say they will do
Nice to see a privately held company excel in this age of publicy traded companies. No stockholders to worry about so they can take better care of their employees.
