Had a wonderful time here and could not believe how many rooms that are open for the public to see. There is a member of staff in most rooms to help with any questions you may have and they interacted with the kids to. Would definitely recommend this place to spend a day.

Beautiful house in lovely grounds. Dogs welcome on leads anywhere around the grounds & parkland. The house is full of interest & volunteer guides are very knowledgeable. Some good bits for children, young ones love the whale & the coach play area. Tha cafe serves good lunches/afternoon teas!

Went for afternoon tea in the Stables Kitchen. We all really enjoyed it, there was a great selection of sandwiches, savouries and cakes and a choice of either tea or coffee. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend it, in this wonderful setting.

Was there for radio 1s big weekend 2017 so can't really comment on much other than its pretty and it was a truly awesome day so kudos for letting the grounds out.
Lovely house and grounds with a decent amount of things to do for kids and adults. No forest, walled gardens or adventure playground so not quite as much as some other similar houses life castle Howard or Burton Agnes

Visited tge East Yorkshire vintage car show. Really enjoyed the show - would have liked more picknic tables available and more shade around tge exhibition area - itvwas a bit challe ginfmg for older visitors.
