Grounds are nice. Halloween experience could have been a lot better. Kids had to find 10 pumpkins with letters on them to spell out 2 words. Got a goody bag if they found them. A tiny ink stamp a paper book mark and a chocolate coin. Cafe was busy, seemed rushed, not proper sanitised tables and ch...

Had a wonderful time here and could not believe how many rooms that are open for the public to see. There is a member of staff in most rooms to help with any questions you may have and they interacted with the kids to. Would definitely recommend this place to spend a day.

Wow! We stumbled across this while we were out and about. It's one of the best historic houses we have been to. The coffee shop was great and the journey up the drive was awesome - you can fully appreciate the grandness of the house. The guides were amazing and gave lots of interesting facts about t...

Lovely house and grounds. A real "Hidden Gem" in that not only is it a Gem, but its fairly difficult to find especially if you miss one of the Brown tourist signs when the verges are well grown in the summer.
Went for the afternoon and found out there was a craft fair in the stables (adjacent to th...

Great tour, made extra special by having a number of the rooms decorated for Christmas. The evidence of servant activity and their part in the history of the house was a real insight into how landed gentry lived. Lots of art works and antique furniture on display makes this a museum as well as a sta...
