The food is delicious, very well seasoned. The ambiance is wonderful they had live music with really good songs. The staff was very friendly, nice and attentive. I went to the Sunday brunch and it's buffet style in oh my goodness the bomb. The have unlimited mimosas, do you know that their champagne is the bomb? If you don't like mimosas they have a fully stocked bar. I will definitely be coming back.

I was excited to try this place after seeing it on "24 Hours to Hell and Back." We stopped on Tuesday the 31 around 5pm. The restaurant was closed though the hours listed on Google are 4pm-10pm. Maybe they've changed? Anyone know? Wish we could've tried it. Maybe next time. I just gave a star rating since one is required, but haven't had a chance to eat there yet due to the confusion on opening times.

Mother s Day dinner disaster!

The staff were accommodating and kind! ESPECIALLY SOPHIE . Although we didn t have any servers, silverware or even cups and had to ask for everything.

On mother s day they charged $39.99 for everyone
We asked to speak to the owner who looked a bit insulted and you can tell he recomposed himself once we all spoke up about the food, he swore no one else complained about the food but in fact we found out about 3 other families did complain, just not to him! Once we complained the only thing her could do for us (ALTHOUGH WE BARELY ATE ANYTHING) was give us 50% off so our plates were $25 dollars.

I would think after GORDON RAMSEY came to help them that their food would be much better. As far as the drinks if it was for Sophie we would have never even seen any mimosas! Smh

This place is FANTASTIC. During fire evacuation, we rented an Airbnb around the corner and walked to this joint. They had a buffet the night we visited. Everybody so nice, food very good and comforting, and their hot sauce is HOT. Jamaican Soul Food. What a treat!

We had 2pm reservations for Mother's Day Brunch at Brownstones. When we were finally seated & got in line for the buffet. There was no food left. There only scraps, the waiters kept saying the that the food was coming out. It took over an hour to replenish the trays. People were rushing to get food as it came out of the kitchen. There was only one waiter at the serving stations for the waffles, omelets & prime rib. There was no deserts left either. The lines were long. It was such a disappointment for Mother's Day Brunch & we did not get our moneys worth.

The atmosphere was nice, the bar tender was attentive (and her Bloody Mary was awesome). There was 6 in our party, with reservations for Sunday brunch, and we were seated quickly. It's a buffet, so we got up after a little conversation and got in a short line. The cuisine is southern and creole, with some traditional brunch items, omlettes, waffles, roast beef. I had greens, some paella, gumbo, small piece of salmon, shrimp and grits. The second round included the roast beef and omlette. Every item was pretty good. I past up a few items like mixed vegetables, salad, meatballs, potatoes, some great looking mac and cheese, etc... There was lemon and chocolate cake, and very good coffee. However, our server was pretty slow and had to be reminded a couple of times about requested items. If there were 4 1/2 stars, I would give them that. I think we all enjoyed the Brownstone Bistro, and I'll be back!

Great restaurant! First time but it won't be the last time. I definitely recommend. Good old school soul food. The brunch is fresh and kept refreshed. The food doesn't just sit. The beans are stirred, medium sized pots of food that are replaced regularly. It's warm and delicious. Fresh salad, moist and juicy barbecue chicken, cheesy and creamy Mac and cheese, and well seasoned and stocked gumbo and jambalaya. And much much more. My only regret is I got full before I could try everything. Well next time.

The Brownstone Bistro food was really good, the food was well seasoned, and cooked properly. I enjoyed the Buffett which had some high-end food like large coconut shrimp, shrimp and grits, blacken salmon, jerk chicken, red beans and rice homemade greens and fried chicken to name a few. One more delicious then the next. There were two huge parties there at the time but n o t enough wait staff. Small inconvenience for an excellent meal. I will be back for sure.

Delicious restaurant. Went on a Thursday night for dinner and found out they had a buffet. For about $18, they had a variety of food; oxtail, fried catfish, Mac and cheese, greens and more. Great atmosphere, parking on the street was easy on the Thursday night, and the staff was super friendly!
