Update: appears not a scam but the level of professionalism, lack of giving information as well as aggression on behalf of the consultant made me believe so. A very poor organisation

This lot sent me a text. Then called and put me in a queue. This lot are at it. Phishing for information. Not being able to describe what the "debt" is. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Complete scam. BPO sent me a letter claiming that they were collecting on behalf of SSE. I confirmed with SSE that I have never had unpaid debts and that they are not associated with any company called BPO Collections.

Couple of texts from these guys so googled then phoned to check: An organisation I've never heard from before wants me to give personal information to prove who I say I am, before they'll explain what it's about... dodgy?

Very disorganised company with rude staff. Hope to never deal with them again.

I have received an email saying I owe them money, followed by a convincing letter stating that the debt is from HMRC, however when calling them they seem to be fishing for more of your details to pass security to enable them to talk further.
I have contacted my accountant and she has double checked that I have no outstanding debt to pay and has warned me to ignore BPO collections and she will forward any further letters to HMRC Fraud department.

BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME BPO COLLECTIONS!

The same as everyone else it seems a dodgy letter from HMRC none of the automated systems work and when I did get through they asked so many questions it seemed they where more interested in my date of birth and who I was what did Etc it was as if they needed more info for something else. Go direct to HMRC if you owe not these cowboys

Had a debt i didn't even know about all letter were going to the wrong adress(not bpo's fault it was Virgin Media being useless)
Called them both to confirm that yes Bpo were now collecting the payment (not a scam as people here are leading you to belive)
Arranged a payment schedule once a month, lots of different ways to pay online, phone ect. The lady on the phone was very polite and understanding and so far has been a positive experience on dealing with them.

Writing me threating letters one day they'll threaten the wrong person they probs don't even come from that address though

This is a complete scam, they do not exist, they're address is a Marina car park. My 11yr old son is getting constant texts advising him to call for a debt he's apparently accrued in the 2 months he had his mobile phone.

Very suspicious! They sent me a letter saying that they represent HMRC saying that they ve been asked by them to collect tax?

They don't answer phone, no idea what they re chasing be cautious lots of people suggesting scam no idea as cant find out why they.re hassling me

Bloody awful service trying to get money out of me for a Virgin Media Mobile Sim Card which I cancelled 3 months ago, 2nd letter came today & I have EMailed them back just leave me alone..

Terrible company, threatening company that the information is not even correct !!!

Bullish business whom like to increase the debt to please themselves. They do not work within FCA guidelines as proven in their Web statement, they "STRIVE" is a non-agreeable quote and therefore any debtors would be advised, if they want to pay, to return to the original source of the problem. Bpo positive reviews are by employees and a full reflection of the substandard "can't pay, we'll take it away" channel 5 culture!!!!

Who are these people? I got a message asking me to phone a number,there were no other details apart from a number to quote. Sounds dodgy so I will be ignoring them.

the BPO people are ill trained and dont even call but text saying you missed a call they are not acting legally and are very bad at there jobs !!!!!!

They contact you with ifs and buts by letter. Ask you to call them. Now 34 min on hold and its not me they are looking for

Do not trust or believe this company. I have had numerous letters off different company's asking for money which I owed a energy compnay. I have spoken to energy firm and they advised me to ignore them.

Keep harrassing me even though I have an IVA in place. My IVA supervisor has written to them and sent evidence of my IVA. They continue to email amd write to me. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT OPERATE WITHIN THE LAW.

Received a letter from these crooks this morning, I m not in any debt at all, What s more suspicious is there address, Will not be paying these morons anything.

I'm 14 and they are harassing me and asking for money. I tried calling them to tell them to stop but they keep calling and texting on different numbers so I cannot block them.

I am currently being harassed by these guys, wasn't sure if it was a legit collection company, but going by the reviews I can see they're bs. They sent text and letters saying I owe hmrc, tried to phone but no response. I'll be speaking to hmrc directly because of this.

Gone on to the website to pay but all options results in 500 server error.
