They have a nice front lobby to wait at with little tables and comfortable couches. I believe they serve alcohol here so I m sure that s a plus for some people. This theater feels old school, I mean it definitely is not but it has a charm to it larger theaters have lost. Also not super crowded on the weekends.

This has turned into a really great theater. Assigned seats, comfy leather chairs, and gourmet popcorn at the concession stand all do their part to make a great movie-going experience. The new ticket kiosks are very user-friendly. Some of the staff members could be a little friendlier, however.

Lovely concession and ticket staff. Nice snacks. Seats comfy but don't recline enough. One star because before the previews started the black screen cover suddenly came down 2.5 feet and blocked the whole top of the screen!! When I informed the manager (2x) he insisted it was supposed to do that. Huh? The top of everyone's head in the movie was cut off and the movie was clearly not formatted correctly. I have been to a million movies and I've never seen the screen get SMALLER before the movie started. And I also had seen that movie before in a theater so i knew something was wrong immediately. Ridiculous. At least they gave me a refund.

The reclining seats were really comfortable and made for a pleasant viewing experience. I get discounted movie tickets from work as a perk, and I like that we are able to use these tickets to reserve seats online, unlike in the bigger name theaters where we have to show up, and on numerous occasions, couldn't even get seats next to each other. And the staff here seem to be better trained at good customer service, although they were a little weird with the snacks they saw in my backpack (also from work). Overall, this was a great movie theater and would now be our first choice every time we want to see a movie.

I enjoy going to Cinepolis. The seats are reclinable, spaced well, and have a tray and cup holder. Good selection of movies are available here. My only knock would be the concessions. They could be a bit better. They are in the middle of upgrading the movie theater so hopefully that will change.

The theater is beautiful and freshly renovated, but the seats! They're simply the most uncomfortable I've had in life, all over the world. They look like beautiful new comfy reclinable armchairs, but once you seat the angle is just completely off, making it hard to seat still for 2h. No idea who designed those seats and even worse who picked them when the theater was renewed, definitely some major mistakes happened.

A great relic of the independent movie house. They still design some of their own ads for movies. However, they run primarily first run movies. On fridays and saturdays don't miss the Rocky Horror Picture Show by the offical NYC cast. It's only $9 and worth every penny if you havent been.

I really like this movie theater. Trust my review. I am very picky when it comes to movie theaters. I prefer a movie theater to be clean and comfortable and I will most definitely take luxury . This movie theater is like being in your own clean and comfortable living room. Inside of the actual theaters themselves is clean. The seats are lovely and they recline. They do not recline as far back as some in other theaters I have visited but still a nice recline. They have an attached tray for food and drink that swivels. On the side of your seat there is a spot where you can charge your mobile phone. Now the price of the ticket is more than most theaters I have visited in manhattan but I still feel it's definitely worth checking out if you don't mind paying a couple extra bucks.
