This place is the classiest casual restaurant you can bring anyone to in Manayunk. Nice outdoor deck seating and great spacious indoor restaurant and bar area as well. Good drink specials. Louisiana flare but a variety of food that is all fantastic. Great trip for brunch too. Live music weds-sun. Bourbon Blue is not the cheapest but is the town's best.

Best cheesesteak egg rolls in the city and friendly staff.

Unfortunately, the management at bourbon has failed to hold their parking partner ParkOps accountable for their services. My vehicle was damaged three weeks ago while valet parked, and they have failed to take accountability. Requests to review the video footage have gone unanswered.

Nice riverside bar/restaurant with many happy hour specials but that's as far as I'll go. The menu suggests the portions are regular entree size dishes but are really small in comparison to other restaurants in the area. The beers on tap are interesting but most are served in 10oz glasses at 'pint' prices. Had the jambalaya on my first visit and it was bland, lacking in substance and had only 3 small shrimp, a couple pieces which I assume were sausage and one piece of what I believe was ham. And no more than 10oz. Seems 10oz is the standard here. On my second visit (while being dragged and screaming 'no, please not again') I had the blackened red fish. Tasty but is was smaller than most appetizers at other restaurants. And at $22 a pop you had to second guess whether to order another dish like you usually do at a tapas restaurant. You get a vibe in here that it's a tourist trap with the pricey small portioned plates and tiny glass drinks. FYI: it's a 2-star bar with the extra star for great service.

The soup (gumbo soup?) tasted straight out of a can, and a consistency of cat food. Everything was underseasoned. Calamari plate was mostly peppers. Needed salt. Cesar salad dressing tasted straight out of a jar, and not even a good jar. Friends burger needed salt. And on top of that the prices they charge for their out of a can food doesnt make any sense. Another friends "entree" salmon.... I kid you not was MAYBE half a filet of a salmon floating in a middle of a plate, again very average taste.

Bourdon Blue participated in a food event a my job. At the time I only had their bread pudding - which was AMAZING! Based on the dessert I decided to try them for dinner; BIG MISTAKE. We were seated quickly, and placed our orders for drinks and an appetizer.

Drinks came with no straws. Due to the waitress not being attentive It took about 10 min to track her down.

Appetizer - Bang Bang strimp wasn t bad but took a while to eat due to us not being provided silverware.

Entrees: chicken Chesapeake and Cajun tilapia. Both were very disappointing! The chicken Chesapeake lacked flavor. The angel hair pasta was just soaked in a bland buttery sauce. The dish included crab meat on the menu - but failed to make it to the dish. The tilapia was ok, but the potato hash reminded me of gerbers baby food. For roughly $25 for each entree we were highly disappointed.

I told the waitress about my dissatisfaction with dinner and how good their desserts were at my job . She nonchalantlay said well do you want a dessert menu didn t care to hear the feedback or have a manager come talk with us.

Bad customer services , high prices , and horrible food. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

Our server Alexis treat us with exceptional service. She communicated with the chef our dietary needs and preferences.

The manager supported an excellent dining experience . The cocktails we're well made. Our food was made to our individual palette preferences.

In addition we we're delighted to discover a talented local musician, John Gilbride.

I can't come to Manayunk and not come here!! Best spot hands down to kick back and enjoy the food, drink, live music, balcony, etc! This last time (Saturday) helped that our server Dana rocked! I'd definitely have a drink with her! Hopefully lol But Bourbon Blue is amazing...go!

Had the fried chicken breast with the mashed spuds and the spinach it was okay at best the chicken breast Needs seasoning, the coating could be better, the mashed potatoes could never be call pomme puree , they were short on the butter and cream a little garlic celery seed would be nice up in there also, how was shocked that a side order of broccoli which we got maybe 5 single florets mall at back price out at $4. 50 now that's ridiculous.
I don't believe in serving spinach with mashed potatoes the green has to have some texture. The waitress was very nice.

Took my mom here for a birthday brunch. We shared the bruschetta that was delicious. We both took an order home. I had an omelette that tasted way better than it looked. Service was courteous; our waitress bumped the table and spilled water and ice on the table. She apologized over and over, but I would have like my beverages comp'd. They have a great selection of fruit infused champagne, the pomegranate was delicious!

So, I ve never been to New Orleans, but I imagine that it would be similar to this restaurant. That being said, if you are looking for Southern comfort food from the bayou, you are in the right place. The staples here are the jumbulaya and their Bourbon Blue burger with blue cheese (hence the blue). Of these two, I ve only had the burger, and it definitely lives up to it s reputation. However, I did order it without the mushrooms. All of the seafood dishes I ve had here are excellent and fresh, including the calamari, shrimp and grits, and La Victoria Perch entree. The cornbread with spiced butter, filet tips, and cheesesteak egg rolls are also killer, and the fries are always on point. My only two gripes are these: 1. Don t get the chicken quesadilla (this isn t a Mexican restaurant people) and 2. The gumbo is much to be desired. This dish lacked flavor, heat, and substance, which was very disappointing given that they are supposed to specialize in this type of cuisine! Anyways, maybe next time I ll venture out of my comfort zone and try the alligator sausage quesadilla (um yum? I heard it tastes like chicken and fish...). 4.4 Stars. Xoxo foodie girl

My daughter and I tried Bourbon Blue based on the crab cake bites I saw on the menu. It's only an appetizer, but it was absolutely AMAZING!! So much so that I searched them on GrubHub and was elated to see they deliver to my address. Can't wait to try more of the menu

We were there for our holiday party with our employer. The food was delicious! Especially the appetizers but there was not enough for everyone to taste of what was brought out! The buffet was great! The wait staff was nice and polite! I don't recommend the valet parking though that experience at the end threw a damper on our evening!

Our food was overpriced and not good. The calamari was over cooked and tough, the shrimp in the shrimp tacos were very small and not did not have a good flavor. The veggie burger was similarly lacking in flavor. Caesar salad tasted like it was dressed with store-bought dressing.

The atmosphere is definitely more for those who are going to hang out. Unless you have seating outside I wouldn't suggest this place for an "intimate" kind of date night. It is rather loud. The prices are more on the higher end, however, the portion sizes are decent. I wasn't very impressed with the seasonal risotto I ordered. It left much to be desired as far as flavor. Especially since the menu provided such a descriptive interlude as to what to expect. My husband ordered the jambalaya and it was very good with a nice kick.

This establishment was fine... it s just not exactly worth the money that You pay. Even down to the drinks... it s all underwhelming.! Since when was the fruit supposed to be at the bottom of a sangria?
My friends ordered the pasta and it was way too saucy. All 3 of them had to send it back and 1 of them Didn t even want to bother ordering anything else...

As for me i got a veggie burger and let s just say it was very basic. No exciting toppings, not an exciting burger. Their fries were good though! The atmosphere really was the best thing about this place... not the food
