Stay away!!! Total waste of time. They were so slow i had to keep submitting my documents over and over again and weeks after the survey and a request for the fifth set of documents, I said enoughs enough and walked away. I've now got a much better deal and in the end it was a blessing I didn't go with them. You know the old saying, everything happens for a reason???
Very slow and repetitively asking for the same information over and over again. They take forever to decide on anything. Months and months on, you will still be waiting for a decision. The underwriting process takes a millennium to complete, I most definitely would not recommend them to nobody at all.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS LENDER. They are dishonest. My 4th propery mortgage. Process started January 2018 completed purchase in November 2018. Every 3 months kept on request the same information. But it had to be fresh. Humm no one in designer suit wanted to make decision on application.

Then 10 days to formal offer - which includes a survey done by Connells on the same day they were instructed.

Very slow, took 2 months to arrange a mortgage survey on our house! No consideration for others in the chain. Do not use of you want to move in a hurry!
As a bad credit specialist Mortgage Brokers, we do use Bluestone on a regular basis. We are big fans of theirs. They will never be the quickest lender, but that is to be expected in this part of the market. There is more risk and so they need to be a little more thorough. If you go in to the application understanding that, it should help to lower the stress levels as it is not a sign your application is a bad one, just that they want to dot the I's and cross the T's.
Every case we have sent them to date has gone on to be offered, which I think speaks volumes about the type of lender they are.
