I've been going to these guys for years, and they treat me like family! I always buy tires here AND have them service my car. If ever I have car or tire problems they move Heaven and earth to work us in for the needed repairs. They're GREAT!!!!

Big 8 Tyre Center has been nothing but perfect for all my needs. Today I needed to squeeze in for an oil change. My hours at work can be erratic, so scheduling ahead of time cam be pointless.

Every single time I take my vehicles in, any issues are reported to, and explained to me. The service I receive is excellent and the customer service is always on par.

Having a nice waiting area is a plus and the coffee never hurts. They also have a few toys for kids and a tv.

This was our second time needing assistance from big 8, not only did they go out of their way to find the lowest price for our first vehicle we brought in , they put us in the right direction for a much bigger problem involving our other vehicle for a recall , without their information, we probably would of spent 100's of dollars in which we didn't need to . We will not go anywhere else without checking here first. We refer everybody here

My family are Subaru owners, we have been since the early 2000s . As we have needed maintainence and tires we shopped around in Marshalltown trying to find good service at reasonable prices. We had seen Jerry and Don on the TV and thought we would try them. We were impressed with how quickly they could get us in, and equally pleased with the top notch service . If we ever had a question or concern they would promptly answer or remedy the issue. All three of our Outbacks have Big 8 tires on them, and we are due to replace the tires on our newest. I really appreciated when I had an issue with my gearbox, Don went out of his way to try to find a replacement at a good price. I was not in a position to be able to afford even a rebuilt gear box so Don suggested to change the gear oil, and even brought me back into the shop to show me what the situation was and what they could do to mitigate further wear. That was a year or so ago and my automobile is still going strong. I love supporting local businesses and will always go to Big 8 for all my future service needs.

Always honest and quick. Went in for my brakes today and they told me i didnt need them done. Couldve just done it and charged me anyway but they were honest and didnt. They never try to sell me things i dont need. This is the best place in town for just about any vehicle maintenance.

Honest and affordable! The only place in town my family takes our vehicles to have work done. I prefer to work with Jerry directly because he is the kindest and most knowledgeable person there. He will explain everything to me until I understand or answer any simple questions I ask due to my limited knowledge of vehicles and not make me feel stupid for asking. He always tries to give me the best deal and will do the work to find what is needed to fix my vehicles. I worked directly with Jerry to have the engine in my Sebring Convertible replaced 2 years ago. He and his skilled automotive technicians brought my favorite car back to life and charged me what he quoted me in the beginning, giving me considerable savings on the labor. He's honest, which can be hard to find from automotive repair shops. Don is obviously a skilled technician and good at repairs, but when he's not having a good day, it shows very clearly. His attitude can be rude and he can say things that make me feel stupid for not knowing more about automobiles. Sometimes I want to snap back at him that if I knew how to fix it or what was wrong with my car, I wouldn't be there asking them to figure it out and fix it for me. But I don't want to piss him off further because he is fixing my vehicle and I need it to be done right. Other days he is joking around and nice enough, so it's just a toss up. The other two technicians I have dealt with who work back in the shop, Alex and Logan, I believe, are nice and have done great work on my vehicles, too! I've never had a complaint about them or their work. I absolutely recommend Big 8 Tyre Center for all of your automotive repair and tire needs!

Not only were they fast and friendly, they did the work 40 dollars LESS than the original quote. Now THATS efficiency, I will take Big 8 Tyre Center ALL my future auto repair needs.

They can usually get me in within a couple days, many times the next day, after calling for an appointment which really helps with my busy schedule! If I still have issues they are more than happy to dig deeper to get the problem fixed. It fits my budget and that is definitely a plus! I have never met a more friendly and professional staff, they do an awesome job explaining what the problem entails as well as how they fixed it. They are the only place I trust to take my car. Big 8 Tire in Marshalltown deserves a 5 star rating. There service is excellent, they are very knowledgeable, curtious, fair pricing in all the jobs they do. I personally wouldn't go anywhere else. I've gone to the Dodge dealer here in town, but that was for recall work. I've bought tires at Big 8, brake jobs done, exhaust work, suspension work, batteries, coolant system cleaning, oil changes, tire rotations. I'm very glad Big 8 made it thru the tornado and are still in business. Thanks to Jerry and Don for all they have done for me.

They got my vehicle in the next day, fixed the problem and called me to let me know what the found and mentioned we were 75 miles from and oil change so they took care of that also, thanks no second trip need.

I had many questions about tires. Alex was very knowledgeable and assisted me with my decision. I made an appointment for 4 new Firestone Champion mileage saver tires and an alignment. While I spent more than I had planned initially, I am extremely pleased with the tires and have gained approximately 2.5 mpg. For superior service and products I would recommend Big 8 Tyre to everyone.
