Terrible service when you go into the store and ask if they have an item and the answer is "I dont know", especially when the store is empty.
Then when I went to the register I waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the register and check me out. I left and went to total wine and more.

We went to purchase a beer tap at the Anaheim Hills location. They only had a used one. I was very apprehensive to purchase a used beer tap but unfortunately Bevmo did not have a new one for me to purchase. So I bought it for the FULL PRICE ($60.00) under the advice of the cashier saying that it was sanitized. They did not advise me that this was a non-returnable item. I took the product home and I pondered my purchase. I decided I was not going to use it and take it back. When I tried to return the item the Bevmo customer service rep became very confrontational telling me that they would not take my purchase back because of COVID19. So much so that another cashier started raising her voice to me. I tried to reason with them, telling that that they had sold me a "USED" beer tap and didn't go by any health/safety standards because they said they sanitized it. Why couldn't they sanitize it again after my return. Makes zero sense. Receipt Number Transaction #33 - Terminal 2 - Store 183.

Boycott BevMo! Decided to try it and was asked for ID. Fair enough. Showed ID and was told I had to let them touch it, fair enough. Removed from wallet and without consent, had it scanned. This is a violation of CA law. I proceeded to ask what information was just collected about me and was told I did not need to worry. Procurring legal council and have contacted the state DA's office. Per CA law, I must consent to the scan, as I have a right to not be scanned and take my business elsewhere.
Use at your own risk, they will not disclose what is being captured and how long it is being stored. Per law, only name and birthdate may be stored, but I have a feeling much more than that is. Continuing to use this business will tell them it is ok to violate CA law.

I will do my business Total Wines after the rude lady acting like someone just made her a mini Bevmo god. I'm in customer service and one should be kind and sensitive during this time not like HA ha you can't come in. 67th Bell I won't be back. You don't even deserve 1 star.
