Great shows, but the theatre is outdated and not maintained. One of my 3 chairs was broken (the part that you sit on was missing).
Great venue to see a show. Always enjoy this theater and they are really stepping up their game with some top notch performers.
Very good staff. Very helpful as we attended with elderly people. The staff was very helpful accommodating us with wheel chair and walker assistance.
The venue is a classic old school theater with great sound.
Great seats throughout this intimate theater! We saw a concert and it was wonderful - and easy to see the performance up-close, even from the back of the orchestra section. Bring cash for the cash-only drink and snack bar. The staff was friendly. Also, the bathroom line can get long at times.
I was watching my granddaughter performance on June 9 at that place. It was
Just off Broadway reital. Every dance was amazing.
This would be an excellent place to see a show, but it needs two improvements. First, the house sound system is mediocre at best. I've been to 2 rock shows this month, and was disappointed both times by the sound quality. Vocals were fine, but both shows you could hardly hear the drums. Bass was poor too. One band I had seen at the Beacon theater 2 months earlier, and the sound was 100x better. The 2nd problem are the bathrooms. There is only 1 tiny bathroom for men and women (1 each) on the first floor. The men's has 2 or 3 urinals. That's it. The line was backed up to the bar. seriously? I'll probably go to another show at Bergen PAC, but hopefully they improve the place.
Jim breuer, awesome I ve even seen him in Morristown
Descent size stage, moderately sized auditorium. Tide sitting in the Platinum seating area be prepared to look up, slightly, at the stage. Those with neck problems should avoid sitting that close. Rear orchestra is good. I sat in the Platinum area, 3 rows from the stage. By the end of the performance my neck was soar. Great seats thou. I was able to view the entire stage as well as their facial expressions. We saw Cirque Ziva. It was a great show. Made me feel like I was in China. The cast is very talented and very acrobatic. Definitely a must see.
Love going to the Bergen Pac with my family always a great time!
Very nice old fashioned theater. You need cash for the snack & drinks bar. You'll need quarters for the off street parking.
Floors were awfully filthy and it time for this place to get a badly needed makeover
Great venue for concerts and plays. Bergen PAC is subscriber and volunteer supported. They provide a school for the arts and support local theater, music and arts.
Nice place but seats are small with very little leg room
Smallish venue (perhaps - 2000 capacity ) serves liquor, wine, soda, staff and security are very pleasant, sound seems to be good, and you can find ample free parking across the street. A nice place to see a show just a tad smaller than Radio City Music Hall or Westbury but has upper level seating like the beacon. Much better energy exchange between performers and audience than some arena.
This is a great local venue that has a lot of great shows however, I think the theater itself could use some renovations, it is very run down. Also, the bathroom line got really long because they only have 5 stalls. For a theater that is that big, I expected a little bit more than that. There is plenty of street parking.
Clean theater. Long lines at concession. They could use some more help. Other than that, ticket were well worth it.
Very nice stage with great lights and comfortable seating. There is also a second level to fit more people
The seats are super uncomfortable! I felt the springs in my butt & back Definitely in need of a renovation.
I have been here 3 times now and each time it was for a show or performance for kids. Its got this old school charm to it. The balcony looks like its from the Muppets.
My son was nominated for an award, so ofcourse we had to come.
Overall the venue gets a decent selection of acts, but its very hit & miss with a lot of B and C shows - more creativity needed on proactive booking vs. reactive taking shows that may need a venue - few shows for singles, teens, couples in the 20's-early 40's. Also, a renovation is badly needed - lobby, seating, bathrooms, decor and if possibly taking over space to widen
In disrepair, needs some serious updates and remodeling.
I show up for an 8 PM comedy show. Around 8:20, the lights dim and headliner comes out, which is fine. What is not okay is that for the next 30 minutes, a massive and steady stream of patrons continue walking in through the doors, talking to each other and being guided by ushers with their strobing flashlights, which effectively makes it impossible to hear the performance. It was so bad that even the headliner noticed and commented on it.
Then for the next hour until the show ends, the doors slam open and shut every minute while drunken patrons come in late and stumbling, and other patrons go out to get drinks and come back in. Since the venue is dark and the lobby is brightly lit, the revolving doors create a disco-like experience, accompanied by the music of sloshing ice cubes in cups.
It may be helpful to try to seat everyone before the show starts, like a normal venue, and to either (i) not serve alcohol during the performance, or (ii) serve alcohol in the lobby without opening the doors every minute. But it appears that the venue has embraced a certain type of clientele in order to maximize the importance of drink profits.
If you are reading this-go here! Enjoy the local festivities and home like feel. If you have the ability-donate to the performing arts. The beautiful atmosphere is incomparable.
A good place to see a concert. Compact, not a bad seat in the house.
They should advertise the Pac more.
Neil Berg's 104 Years of Broadway show at the Bergen PAC today was absolutely entertaining, the music, the performers are the best . I love it
Love this place. Have been here many times. Could use more leg room.
I always loved this place even when it was a movie theater the stage is very large and every seat is a great seat.
I like the place. It has parking, stores and restaurant near and it s not that big. I ve been in 2 salsa concert and the audio is bad. I don t know if the theater owns the speakers/amplifiers or that s on the artist but that s the only bad thing I can say.
Great place for shows but doesnt deserve 5 stars due to the fact that it is a little outdated.
Will never come here ever again. Booked online for an event a while back for Robert from shark tank. Took off early from work, got there a few minutes late. Was told that it's first come first serve and my seat isn't guaranteed. What was the point in booking weeks ahead of time?
Why don't me people go to this intimate venue? Great place to see a show. Plenty of parking across the street and restaurants nearby.
I had a bad experience. I didn't know I have to bring ticket ,when someone call me didn't mention anout ticket. Not only is many people ware waiting outside they said place is full. One lady came from long island. Owners came in the front door not a nice person. Many people are upset
Great venue but the seats are way too tight for tall people.
What an amazing Chicago concert tonight at Bergan PAC! They put on a 2 1/2 hour concert with all their famous hits! The venue acoustics and sound system was great as usual! Bergan PAC is our favorite place for a special night out! Keep the bands coming!
I was in Bergen Performing Art Center at Yanni concert on 11 July, 2016.
It was wonderful place to participate in concerts or other art shows.
They have many interesting programs, and I will visit there again and again.
P.S. Yanni concert was amazing.
This is nothing more than the movie with the lyrics to the song. Do not be fooled with the personal appearance of the princesses. They appear to sing with the movie. That's it. Not worth the price unless you want to watch the movie in a theatre.
Great variety of shows jazz,NJSO, rock, blues and soul! Close to NYC but convenient parking and restaurants nearby!
Had a great time at the Boyz II Men Concert. Very comfy seats!
Ric Wakeman,Dennis Deyoung,Jim Bruer Absolutely good place. Small and close
Nice small theatre nor far away from NYC. Lots of great artists perform here to avoid New York prices. And a short bus/car ride is worth the trip.
I always have a good time thanks for bringing rock to my are of Englewood
Great small theater for concerts. its not too loud even 2nd row!
We had front row mezzzanie tickets far in advance for a show and the management closed the upstairs without notifying us in advance after we drove over an hour to get here and they wanted to put us in the REAR of the orchestra . Why? Because they didn't sell enough tickets upstairs. Are you kidding me??? Stay away from this theater!
Many UN-COOL people trying to bring XXth century back:( in that center!
The very venue to see a concert or show. Friendly staff and professional entertainment. Love this place.
Concert was awsome! Best ever, our seats were great. VIP room needs a little attention.
The actual theater is quite dated, but the acts that come are fantastic, so who cares! Also the staff and volunteers are very nice and helpful. Saw so many legends like America, Pat Benatar, Tommy Emmanuel, Air Supply and more! Englewood has great restaurants too and there's plenty of parking around. Good times.
A fan of this venue because of its size, convenient location and free parking. Have attended many events here and love that no matter where you are sitting, you re able to have a clear view of the stage. Stress free access with plenty of parking spaces available and local dining options in Englewood.
This venue is old and run down. Bergen is a wealthy county and this PAC does not do it justice. Raise some money and renovate the entire space. Please!
