I have nearly finished my EEN course and wanted to work as a PCA whilst waiting to register. The woman from Belmore said she would only be giving me work as a PCA was because i would be registering as an EEN and working as a nurse for them. No way would i ever work for them. She was abrupt and unpleasant

Pros: This is a fairly decent agency for whom to work as a registered nurse. The staff is wonderful. There are plenty of opportunities and offers for shifts. Cons: The communication system could use updating. They could maybe utilize mobile app technology like some other agencies. I, personally, receive a better hourly wage through some other agencies. My shifts through Bellmore seem to be cancelled much more frequently, and with shorter notice, than. It can be frustrating to accept a shift a day ahead of time, meanwhile declining shift offers from other agencies, only to be canceled an hour or two before the shift. Overall: Bellmore is OK and worth having around. However, there are better, more reliable agencies out there. Advice: Keep track of which clients tend to cancel and don't accept shifts from those particular clients.

I have a good experience with belmore. professional staff, Flexible time & plenty of shifts. Just one thing that bother me is that last minute call. Mostly they inform you an hour before. If they improve this may be the best agency to work for.

Since I joined Belmore about a month ago, I have know regret and I'm only staying with this agency! I get jobs everyday! Very professional & I'm happy!

I worked for this company a few years back in the role of a PCA. I worked all different time shifts and days in a variety of facilities. I knew what l was doing with excellent skills & they knew it. I'd work for them at short notice even if l had already worked a shift. I did one thing wrong and was treated with disrespect. The man who called me hissed at me. I hope he got his karma three fold. I learnt a lot from working at many different facilities but l always gave 150% as l am loyal & caring to the residents. I felt betrayed by this company & under valued. Dispicable. Companies like this are needed in this industry but they themselves are capable of treating the staff like s###. Be aware you are their money maker & disposable. I give them no stars.

I joined this agency 2 months ago and still waiting for shift even after continuously updating my availability. They just keep hiring people but don't have work.

They ask you at the very last movement about working with a children check, and it's it' cost you 130. And police check as well. Expensive to get recruited.

Very professional and supportive team. The best I've experienced for acute shifts. Very supportive and compassionate managers and team. Highly in demand and they provide a wonderful diverse range of shifts. Easy to use site and professional and proven reputation. I can even say after taking a break from nursing how great this team is and how much I highly appreciated all their support through my years with them before my break. Highly recommend for nurses who are looking to try new surg med wards based on their scope of practice. Belmore refreshed my nursing passion by sending myself to different facilities. A great option for nurse specialists too. Keep up the great work.

DO NOT join this agency. They will NOT support you and discriminate you when it's NOT your fault. They don't care about their staff. Trust me, there are way better agencies out there!!!!
