This park and lighthouse is a special place for me. I have visited this place for many years. On a recent visit, I had the pleasure of talking to a man who lived in the lighthouse as a child and related his memories to me and my wife for 2 hours. It was a fascinating experience and very inspiring an...

Passing nearby ocean storms/hurricanes make this one the best places to see the waves break on the rocks. It is also a great place for shore fishing where you can catch some fair sized ocean...

Gorgeous must see in Jamestown. An absolute delight! There is a trail to walk, a breath taking sunset or sunrise. A beautiful lighthouse, a museum, plenty of historical information and much more. I loved every bit of it and i will be back again and again.

I was a little disappointed that you can't go in the light house but I got over it pretty quick when I saw the waves crashing on the rocks at high tide! So beautiful! And there's a nice little free aquarium that my kids enjoyed. And there's bathrooms. Always a plus.

It was closed when I visited but, it was still more interesting than the others. Nice views and some nice oceanside areas to explore. Seems a popular destination for school field...

This place is great for so many things: watching sunrises, big waves during storms, photography, letting the kids run around on the rocks, flying kites, picnics, etc. It changes with the seasons, so it's worth visiting in all different types of weather just to see it change.

My beautiful old home. My father , John Baxter, was the last light keeper in the early 70's. Many great old memories there from the hurricane to the copter landing on the road. Hoping to go back after all these years. If you live close or want to have a great vacation, visit Jamestown, it's a cute t...

I haven't been actually inside it, but do you really think it's easy to crash into Rhode Island with a sailing ship or whatever? Don't they have GPS now or something? It doesn't seem that useful anymore, they should use the space for an Arby's. It does look nice.

Beavertail is a beautiful place on the southern end of Conanicut Island which is also the town of Jamestown. The lighthouse sight is the third oldest operating in the U.S. which can be toured as a museum.
There is a very small yet wonderful aquarium which is housed in a side building of the lightho...
