We hired Baxter windows to replace our windows on our beachfront home in Melbourne Beach, they did a great job anytime we called with concerns or questions they were always available. We would highly recommend using Baxter windows to everyone. Our portrait windows look amazing.

We had Baxter come out to give us a quote, we really like the sales rep and what they offered. No sales pressure, no magic discounts just straight up pricing. We ordered today and can wait for the installation in 3 weeks. We will post another review after that.

We just had windows installed by Baxter Windows and we were very pleased with their quality and value from start to finish. Nathan was tremendously helpful from the initial meeting because he presented the windows, prices and features in a no pressure way (unlike the other 2 window companies we had talked to). Prices were fair and reasonable compared to the others, but the overall quality and authentic communication was the reason we went with Baxter. As far as the installation, we had the best guys we could've imagined. Alex and Marcelo were amazing throughout the entire day! Super nice men who were excellent in every aspect! They were professional, very careful and cared about the quality of their work. Both Alex and Marcelo made the experience a true pleasure! Highly recommend!

I was in need of 3 new french doors and did a lot of reading and research on-line of local businesses. The reviews for Baxter obviously caught my attention and after I got quotes they were also highly competitive. The owner Nathan came out personally to double check dimensions as I tend to worry about those things quite a bit as the doors have to be custom made. Long story short Nathan was extremely knowledgeable and responsive and the installer Riley was also punctual, knowledgeable, and got the job done in exactly the time frame they gave me. The new doors really tie the room together and I couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend Baxter Windows and Doors.

On April 27th Baxter salesman John Dileo came to our house to give an estimate for replacing 4 French doors and our front door. All seemed well, the company has great reviews, we liked the products and John seemed knowledgeable about them. He gave us a verbal estimate for the French doors that was in the range we expected. He said he would email us the catalog of front doors later that day so we could pick out exactly what we wanted, then we would get a written estimate for the entire job. We never received the email. An email to him on 5/1 making sure he had our email address correct and requesting the catalog was unanswered, as was a call. The next week a call to the office requesting he contact us yielded no results. We still have not heard anything. We had been considering replacing these doors for some time and decided that during the economic hardships caused by Covid19 it would be a good time to support local a business, but apparently this company (or at least this salesman) isn t interested.

UPDATE: He did speak to the owner two days ago. The email from the sales rep was in the spam folder, it had not been sent until 5/5, which was a day after he stopped looking in junk after checking daily from the day the rep came over on 4/27. It only had the complete estimate for the French doors. We still hadn't received the catalog for the front doors, but my husband received an email and spoke with sales rep John after the owner called two days ago and asked for it again, and John did send it. My husband had surgery yesterday, so we will look through the catalog and decide how to proceed once he recovers.

I am a first time home owner and have had multiple bids on replacing twelve large windows; Nathan, with Baxter Windows came in well below the other estimates. Despite the unusual nature of the house (it is round) and how complex the measurements were, everything turned out flawless. I strongly recommend this company.

Sent my 1st email to Baxter Windows and Doors on Saturday 1/18/20 and didn't really expect a reply until Monday. They replied to me later that night and we had an appointment set up to come out and measure for Tuesday. I really appreciated how well they stayed in touch and how well they worked to get to my house as quickly as possible. I am now happily waiting on my 2 doors.

If you are in the market for new doors and windows, look no further. Baxter is the best! It's very rare to find a business with such a high level of customer service and quality product/services. Baxter Windows and Doors replaced all windows (15+) and doors (4) in my home with hurricane impact. From proposal to install to final touch-ups, they made lots of promises and fulfilled every single one. Responsive, honest, hard-working and knowledgeable from start to finish. Baxter Windows & Doors performed a whole house window replacement last week. My experience was positive throughout the entire process (quoting/installation/inspection/follow-up). The windows brought new life into my 1950's home. My 'Florida Room', in particular, feels noticeably cooler in the brutal summer heat and the windows have already proven to be solid and leak-free, standing up to a typical summer downpour earlier this week.

I called Nathan, owner of Baxter Windows, on a referral from another contractor of mine. I was desperate to find someone who was able to be punctual and actually follow through on commitments after a horrible experience with Window World. Nathan was more than punctual, he was friendly knowledgeable and extremely professional. He always contacted me back within 24 hours and never once missed a scheduled appointment.

I had originally requested that a glass block window be removed and replaced as well as the two half round windows, but Nathan took his years of experience and expertise to explain that it was not cost effective for me to have the glass block removed. He advised, based on my goals, that I should just stick with the two half round windows instead. This was a major thing to me because it said to me he wasn't just there to take my money. He understood that I have a goal with this house, and that the glass block window is functional - it wasn't a necessary expense and he didn't try to sell me on it just for the extra money in his pocket.

His quote for the windows was as expected for the size and complexity of the job as well as the grade of the windows I elected to have. The windows were ready to install even a little sooner than he had indicated to me, which was extremely impressive since he knew I was in a hurry.

He and his assistant arrived promptly at my home on installation day, and worked quickly and efficiently to get both windows installed. When they were finished they cleaned the work area, and the windows. Angie's list readers, this is huge. The rest of the windows in my house were installed by Window world and this is something that Window World did not bother doing when they installed the rest of the windows in my home.

Overall my experience with Baxter Windows has been one of the best experiences with a contractor in the five years that I have owned my home. Our house needed a lot of work, so that is no small compliment. I would recommend Nathan, and Baxter Windows to anyone.

We have a 1950 home with original windows. They are tricky to get out to say the least. The installment team was on time, efficient, and detail oriented. Marcelo and Alex (installers) worked hard, and our windows look AMAZING. What a difference new windows make especially when your windows are 70 years old!

We have a vacation home we didnt have too much time to have the job done, since we dont live in US . They installed the doors in 3 weeks . and did a great job with the install. We had 4 windows installed and within 1 hour after the job was done we noticed a huge difference in how cool our home was inside. The new windows made a huge difference compared to the 60 year old windows we had. Nation was also great at walking us through every step of the way since we had never had custom windows before. Finally, we want to mention how very pleased with the price we got because we had a couple of other estimates before we decided to go with Baxter but they were way more expensive and did not give no where near the customer service and attention to detail......we definitely will call Baxter back again to give them more of our business...........:)

We got quotes from three different companies to replace our sliding glass door and all of the windows in our home. We chose Baxter Windows and Doors because of their professionalism and also their prices were fair and reasonable. Nathan and associate came out to measure to replace a rotted window on my historic home. They were professional and knowledgeable, suggesting a good option that ultimately didn t work out because couldn t get an exact match. We opted to have the window taken out and repaired in order to keep the historical integrity of our home. Very grateful for excellent service and understanding from Baxter Windows when we couldn t move forward.

Impeccable service and quality from a friendly family owned company!

Nathan was great. He came over and showed me all my options for replacing my French door. He actually talked me out of replacing my entire French door unit, side lights included, to just updating the hinges and adding new blinds insert. This was a shock as prior installers told me there was no other way to update/fix the doors other than replacing the unit. Nathan took a look and noticed my hinges were off and suggested replacing all of them, balancing the doors, and adding the new inserts. Not only are my doors now functional, they look absolutely amazing with the new inserts. The best part is he helped me save over 2k.

Baxter Windows came to our house last year and gave us a quote for new front entry door. At the time we weren't ready just yet but soon. The rep told us the price was fixed and not to worry about the time frame.
So, 8 months later, our new door isn installed and what a difference. Only problem is now we need to cut some bushes away from the walk path so people can see door from the road.

I just had my front door and patio door replaced and the transformation is incredible! Baxter did an excellent job at recommending the right products for my needs and the pricing was competitive. The installation itself was a 2 day job and the finished product was fantastic. Would highly recommend and would definitely use them again for future projects.

We inquired about having a wall knocked out in our home and sliders or accordion style doors installed. They gave me the name of a contractor that they use and I contacted him. Together we went to the store and choose a door for our home. I was told I would have the estimate by the end of day..at the very latest the following business day. A week later I still hadn't heard from them. I called and spoke to someone in the office who said they would look into it and call me back. They never called me back. They would have had an easy sale in me, however, I was forced to go elsewhere with my business.

Baxter did an amazing job on my old house. We had lots of rotten wood and no company wanted to deal with. I will change my front door and I will hire them again

I recently bought my first home and started calling contractors for several jobs around the house. I immediately realized how hard it is to get good service and started to feel overwhelmed with frustration. When I determined that I needed to have my entire sunroom's windows (5 large sliders) and an entry door replaced, I was not looking forward to finding a reliable company. I was starting to think they didn't exist.

I contacted three companies and only one called me back. That company was Baxter. They promptly scheduled an in home estimate that week. From estimate (which was right where I expected as a competitive price based on my research) to measurements to ordering and follow up on installation date, this company was an absolute pleasure to work with. They even tried to install earlier than expected, but I was the one that was too slow in responding.

They installed the windows when they said they would and they really knew how to work through the oddities in the previous construction. All was done in a day and I was left with a beautiful final result and a clean home. I am thrilled. They even work with you to get the inspection done and handle filing for any rebates you may qualify for with your electric company.

I can tell that Nathan and his team take a lot of pride in their craft. I have about 8 more windows and 2 more doors that I would like to replace eventually. I will definitely choose Baxter when I am ready to get those done too! I would highly recommend giving them a call if you need windows and/or doors. They have renewed my belief that there are still companies in existence that care about their customers and treat them like people. Thank you, Nathan and the whole Baxter Team!

Before you sign a contract ask them how they plan to cover up the screw holes in the window frame, and make sure you get an answer in writing. They did a great job installing the windows but as they were packing up to leave I asked about the uncovered screw holes and was told, we don't use the factory provided screws so the caps that would cover the holes don't fit. I have been trying to work with them, I think we found a workaround, but in the end they shuffled me off. Also make sure you know what their version of a Completion of Work form looks like. I signed an untitled page that I thought was a Workers Survey (were we courteous, did we clean up...) that they used to bill my credit card for the balance before I considered the job complete.

1st I have talked to the window manufacturer (located in Florida) and they told me 1. that their windows do meet Florida Code 2. they do not provide screws, they are at the discretion of the installer and 3. they do provide caps that cover the screw holes that do not interfere with the sliding windows. Please feel free to dispute the manufacturer.
I was never informed of the issue of no screw hole covers. In fact the sample window that I saw during your sales pitch didn t have any exposed screws.
The covers that you are saying I installed incorrectly were handed to me by your workers and I was told after the inspection if I wanted to put them in I could. Two exact same size rectangular fixed windows, I was given 8 precut strips. 7 went in perfectly the 8th was cut 1/2in short and left a gap. Try again
I finally came up with a compromise for the screw holes after finding some left over Trim Tape that you use for finishing windows. You agreed that it would work and told me I could come by and you would give me some. The next day while in my car heading to your shop I called to confirm that you would be there and that I could get the strips and was told nope now you didn t have any. You graciously gave me a link to the Trim Tape providers telling me to go buy it on my own. However they only sell it in 200ft rolls ($153.00), I only need 20ft to fix the 11 windows you installed.
Consistently went our of our way to accommodate you"??? I have every email, text and picture I sent to you and I know you do too. I also have the Completion of Work Form that says the trim work is not complete. I just needed 20ft of this tape that would have cost you $15.30, that I was willing to come get and install myself, and we would be done, but you chose to have a dissatisfied customer instead.

I had an amazing experience with Baxter Windows and Doors. My new windows look great and were significantly less expensive than a quote I received from a big box store for the exact same windows! Their customer service was what really stood out to me though, it was outstanding...we had a small issue after installation and as soon as I made them aware of it they responded immediately with a plan to resolve the issue and took care of everything. I needed 9 new windows on the house with some custom requests. I was worried a large order like this would get messed up somehow, but Baxter did a fine job, all done in the same day, no problem, professional, no leaks, etc. The installers were nice, timely. The work and windows seem great and exactly what I ordered. This means a lot, in a world where sometimes contractors are not so reliable. Baxter did great. I'm glad to have these windows with their install, so I later ordered another one, also, for another place on the house. It went in fine, too. Good company.

Estimator Peter came out and said the estimate would take one or two days. Friday will be three weeks with no estimate and Peter will not answer my emails.

We preface this review that our experience with installers and techs was great and the new windows and door look nice.

After confirming all the window configurations, we did not hear back for 8 weeks. We were told that the windows would have around a 6-week lead time and they would call to schedule installation. We had to reach out to get updates and set up an installation.

We were told that it would take a full day to do the installation and took the day off. After waiting part of the morning and not hearing from anyone, we called the office to find out the appointment had been cancelled. No one called to let us know that this happened.

After the installation was completed, we were told that the siding for the door wasn t installed and it would be installed at a later date. We asked if they also could touch up the caulk that washed away with the rain. We were told they would do both. When the technician came out, we mentioned the touch up for the caulk and he said he was never told by the office to do that. When we brought this up to the office later, they shifted the blame to the tech, claiming he did not look at the work order.

The inspector quickly checked the stickers before approving the work. Afterwards, we decided to inspect everything ourselves. We found a missing screw in one of the windows. We sent pictures and contacted the office. Without checking the installation diagrams, we were told this was correct and it had passed inspection; the same person who claimed later they have trouble remembering what they did yesterday. When we mentioned what the inspector actually did, he proudly claimed they usually move quick through inspections from companies like his.

We eventually also noticed a broken cover plate. The office helped order a new part and said they would call to set up an appointment. Not so surprising, we didn t hear back from them for almost 4 weeks. We had to reach out again to be told the part arrived and schedule for replacement and address the screw and hole plug concern. The office said it would all be done together. When the techs came, they only had the replacement cover plate. The techs said they were never told to bring anything else. Only after calling and complaining again did they agree to send out techs to fix the other problems. The office also finally reviewed the installation instructions for the picture window which said it needed 4 screws. When we again pointed out it was missing a screw, the only response we got was it had passed inspection.

During this process, we started to have doubts about the windows. We contacted the office and they explained the stickers and mentioned that knocking on glass is one of the easier ways to know if they are three pane glass. We had paid for three pane windows for the peace of mind with the recent storms. One of the windows we checked didn t sound like the rest. We called the office to figure out what had happened. Initially they blamed us for wanting both tint and triple pane glass; they said they couldn t make windows of this size and shape with both options which was never mentioned during the initial quote. We were confused why didn t they just reach out to us when they saw this problem. Only after building the window again in software did we find out that no manufacturer could build a window that large with three pane glass. Keep in mind, we were charged for the triple pane glass even though they ordered a window without it. They never contacted us to refund the money. They only issued a refund after we contacted them about this problem.

From our experience, Baxter does not respect your time. From the initial quote to the last problem fixed, it has taken 20 weeks to be done. This is with constant emails and phone calls to get updates. Our only positive experience has been working with their techs/installation team. We were initially sold on the positive reviews we saw but did not have the same experience others have had.

Nathan was very honest when he explained his windows. Had the best offer than anyone else (I met with about 5 other companies). It was great choice in choosing Baxter Windows. Love the new windows!

Received a quote in May for 17 windows, 2 patio doors and our front entry door. Their price was about in the middle of 3 other quotes. Why I chose Baxter was the salesman used no sales pressure and the entire appointment was only about 45 minutes. I order with them 1 week later. They just finished the installation today. The rep, Nathan, told us to expect 3-4 days without rain. We had rain lol however they started Monday and finished on Thursday so, exactly as he said. The crew cleaned really well and...WOW. Speechless. We still can t get over it. It is a new house now.

Our sliding door wouldn't close and I had a doctor's appointment that day I called the office and they had someone come out and fix it right away. They were great I highly recommend them .

I first made contact with Baxter Windows & Doors about 2 months ago. They came out and provided a in home quote and were extremely informative and answered all the questions my husband and I had. We had two other companies come out so we were able to compare the products and services with cost of all three. The quotes provided by Nathan were comparable and the service is what really got us to close with them. My windows were installed within 3 weeks and closed off with a passed inspection with the county! We could not be happier and would definitely recommend Baxter Windows & Doors to all our friends and neighbors!

Refined customer service is what sets Baxter Windows apart from other purveyors of quality windows. At no additional cost I was treated with care, respect, and a touch of elegance!

You get what you pay for. What you can't control is what the company does to cut costs on their end. This review is purposely written more than a year after service to prevent retaliation to the workers. WHY are there so many 5 star reviews? Installers get bonuses if there's a shout out in the review. Minus one star for unsavory business practices. Cost: Upper mid tier. You can definitely find cheaper windows, but the problem is the workers are paid less, and you will (most likely) get "as fast as possible" installations with little regard to workmanship or quality. From what I gather, Baxter does pay their workers comparatively well, but again, cuts other areas so it's a give and take. Window quality is good. Don't go too cheap on these (they have several tiers to choose from.) There was foam insulation around the windows... (NOT SPRAY FOAM) some window installs cut this out as a result of cost cutting. Install was rushed towards the end because of shifting workers from multiple locations to another and being given some ridiculous excuse like accident or something for the lack of workers at your house ($100 says that's a lie.) Caulk used is the cheapest kind because workers pay for them, not the company. Unfortunately, this might be standard practice. Minus another star for touch up work needed from my end. Would I recommend? YES BUT... I would ask the workers for insight on what supplies they need and furnish it out of pocket yourself. For the caulk? Extreme Stretch 10.1 oz. White Premium Crackproof Elastomeric Sealant. TRUST ME. It's 4x the price of the stuff the workers use for a VERY good reason............. Another suggestion? Treat the workers well (as a homeowner asking for THEIR expertise and help when installing YOUR windows) and they will return the favor in kind. I'm talking actual tips, but that is up to you. Good luck to the future customers. You've done some of your homework if you've read this review in full. Plan accordingly.

Just had 5 windows and an entry door installed. Everything was wonderful, from the sales experience to the installation. We got three estimates and decided on Baxter because of their superior ratings. Really glad we did. The installers were on time, very professional and thorough. Cleaned everything before they left, and even pointed out a tiny flaw in one of the screens and said they would replace it. I might never have noticed it. I would definitely recommend them.

Great costumer service!

We needed two doors repaired (with one possibly needing to be replaced). Additionally a sidelight window next to one of the doors and a center window within the other door both needed to be replaced from single to double pane glass. I first called a large national name brand door and window maker. They sent a sales rep over and he quoted over $4,300 to replace both saying they don't do repair work unless it's on they're own name brand doors. I next called Baxter Windows and Doors. Nathan came over and said that both doors just needed some rehanging and replacement of worn out parts. He said replacing both of the windows was easy to do as well. Total for both doors and windows was $1,500. I could live a lot easier with that. Plus he said that with a little luck, he'd have the windows in within a couple of weeks to do the work. And he did.
On the appointed day, Nathan and the other installer Juliana showed up right on time. They worked diligently and professionally and did a great job! Why on earth did I somehow think that I was going to do this work myself someday. There's no way I could have done anywhere near as good of a job with the doors as they did and I certainly could not have changed the windows out at all. This was money well spent for work from an excellent company.

Great job by Baxter Window & Door! We had them replace all windows in our 4-story apartment building in Downtown Orlando. After talking to many different companies, we chose Baxter because of their reputation and the honest and straight forward sale with Thad. We had to contend with typical weather issues and some very large windows, so were impressed in how their team orchestrated everything, from scheduling with Lilly, working with Alex (installer). We received several estimates to replace 11 windows in our home, and Nathan was the most professional and knowledgeable. Baxter's installer, Eric, did an excellent job, and cleaned up after himself each day. He even cleaned the windows when he was finished! There was only minor touch up painting needed, and no stucco work was necessary when the job was completed. We highly recommend Baxter Windows!

I recently had windows replaced by Baxter and couldn't be happier. They did a fantastic job, and were quick and professional. I did reach out to two other companies, FAS and New South Windows, and their service from the beginning didn't even compare. By the time FAS would come out to provide a quote, Baxter would have the windows installed. When New South Windows came out to quote, they told us it wasn't worth their time because we weren't replacing the windows in our entire home (we only replaced the front portion of the home).

Overall, I highly suggest this company to replace any windows or doors you need. Their pricing is highly competitive and their service is second to none.

I took time off work to schedule this appointment at 9am and no one showed up. I had to call Baxter at 945 to see what the issue was. I was then told the sales rep was at another meeting and could come in 30 more minutes. I expect to be communicated with as a customer. I cancelled this appointment and I'm going with another company.

Nathan, the owner of Baxter Windows & Doors LLC, personally came out for the estimate and ran through our options from cheap Home Depot doors to hand carved mahogany. We decided on some mid tier doors. Nathan gave us a timeline of the second week of September. They ended up installing the doors during third week of September(today) citing that the door to my garage wasn't normal and so a custom door needed to be ordered.

Lucy/Lily? at the office called the day before to confirm the installation as well as the morning of installation to let us know the installers were on their way.

Jake and Sean got in around 9:30am, worked straight through until 2:30pm when they finished up. About halfway through the install, Nathan the owner, stopped by to see how everything was going. The 2 guys were very professional and efficient. They answered my questions and even had some helpful tips for future projects. There is only one small crack on the inside of the trim of the door. I plan on just putting some wood putty in it, sanding it down then painting it anyway.

Overall, I am satisfied with all the work done and will update if anything changes. After first impressions, I would not hesitate to call them again.
