They dont reply to their emails or answer their phones. I have sent 3 emails and never received a response and when I phone they don't answer the phones either.

My complaint against carphone warehouse has been atrociously handled and their correspondence has been appalling. Expect to be contacted in regards to this.

Just has an email confirming that payment from Barings solicitors have transferred BACS payment that I was due from Carphone Warehouse insurance that was mid sold .
This was a very quick process , I m impressed!! Had an email last week confirming that I was due a payment and less than a week it has been transferred into my bank account .
I was a bit apprehensive as it had asked for pictures of my bank card and passport / driving licence but I had read reviews from other customers and seen that was the normal process to get the money into my account . Overall happy with the service at Barings solicitors , but find that the fees are a bit extreme , I guess any refund is a bonus

If you are thinking of using this company for anything legal at all then please simply use someone else.
They seem to have there accreditations off the back of a cereal box. One email from them in 13 months, YES 13 MONTHS!!!
confirmation letter in Jan 2020 and one poorly executed email with a dodgy link that does not work for pay-outs.
This link is their way of getting out of paying anyone compensation so that the bosses can keep the money for themselves. They gave received every penny from the Carphone Warehouse dilemma yet like many other reviews are not paying them out. I do not know how a business like this is still running as it is pure daylight robbery especially when in these uncertain times the people should be paid what is owed.
I have emailed so many times and made over 50 calls but nothing. I can only guess that this once possible reputable company and bitten off way way more than they can chew.
1 star simply is too good.

Got email to say I was owed money from Carphone warehouse, responded to their email to accept offer. Then now I keep getting emails that I have responded to their emails which I have. I even tried emailing and telephone but nothing. Wondering whether this money I'm owned will come. Very bad service and no communication

A horrendously disappointing experience.
Barings Solicitors hung on to a compensation pay-out made to them 6 months ago, took 7 weeks to issue it to me after chasing, but deducted nearly 50% of the amount in administration charges.
Barings Solicitors failed to provide me with their complaints procedure, when requested by me, did not respond to emails and held me in contempt by ignoring my reasonable request for compensation, for all the aforementioned.
I am relieved this has at least ended after legal wranglings that go back to January 2020, but it has left me with a very poor opinion of this seemingly professional organisation.
Ironically the automated final email purporting to be from Director Erich Kurtz stated, "We hope that you have found our service quick and straightforward".
My advice? Avoid Barings Solicitors like the plague.

I have tried calling them few times regarding about the CPW claim but no answer at all. I ve even email them and never got back to me. I ve already submitted the proof of ID and etc. Now they ve got my information, don t know what they gonna do with my information and detail. I am really worried and annoyed at the same time. PLEASE LISTEN ADVICE, DON T GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THEM. They say they ll help you and etc but it s not, they just want all your information and detail. PLEASE AVOID!!!!

Wouldn't even give one star but unfortunately can't rate as 0 stars. Constant pestering about a payday loan claim and no/minimal response to anything I have sent. Only email I received back they addressed with an incorrect name (very professional). Asked on multiple occasions to stop contacting me and still to this day can't get answers to simple questions or evidence that I gave them any authority to go ahead with any claims. Steer clear from these cowboys.

Just check the website for "The Mortgage Lawyers". Then check the website for "Trusted Mortgage Claims". You may see some similarities.
This is part of a tangled web of companies who will happily pass all your data between themselves after making false promises about levels of compensation which you have virtually no chance of receiving. They are false claims. Do your research and avoid at all costs. I could say a whole lot more........

DO NOT USE THESE....Today recueved message to mobile saying ready to be paid out just fill in details to prove not money laundering.
The message asks you for a photo of a letter less than 3 months old to prove address, your passport details, then fill in sort code and account number then lastly a photo of your bank card. Needless to say I went no further. Rang company after many rings it got answered but sounded very unprofessional. I had a chat about how would I know this isn't fraud and you're selling my details onto people to enter the country.reassurance given was not enough for me.
If I was you I would give these a wide birth. Why do they need a photo of your bank card when anyone can pay into your bank just using sort code and account number.
Please avoid these at all costs as it stinks of a fraudulent scam and of someone in a few months time could empty your bank using your card details.
Rang car phone warehouse main office to warn too. They do know of them but please any claims on insurance go through Carnmoney direct they have a claims department espec fir this

Whilst I was very happy they got in touch with me initially about the claim, I have a feeling they're a bit of their depth with this carphone warehouse job. Very poor communication standards. They don't answer the phone. No response to emails. Web chat client does not work. When I click accept claim, the link doesn't take you anywhere or tell you what the next steps are. If someone from the social media team is reading this, please get in touch. As I'm really struggling here.

Edit: someone got in touch to say the claim is moving along basically, fair play.

I've tried to put a complaint in about this company, but there is nowhere that gives info on how to do it.. You can not comment on their FB page, you call them they ask you to email when you email they send you an email back saying please use our webchat!! You would think being a solitors they would know what people rights are, I will find a way to make a complaint about this company!
UPDATE
I've tried to contact this company to remove my data from thier records, I'm in the process of reporting them to ICO so they can investigate for me as I'm still receiving emails I do not want, I'm now unable to contact them through thier chat. All I want for them is to remove my data from thier records it's my legal right to have this removed if I've told them, they should know this being a solitors!!

I have had my doubts when I first saw the ad on Facebook as to whether or not they were genuine, however after all the work they put into my case, and the regular communication between them and myself all doubt had just disappeared. They are a very decent firm, and now thanks to them I have money saved up for my car insurance for the next year. I'm very grateful for their hard work and for the compensation that they got for me. A very good solicitors indeed.

Great service i actually forgot that applied for it, to claim back from car phone warehouse, a few weeks ago i got an email saying to send my details ect to accept the claim to be processed. Dont get me wrong i was a little wary but i decided to go ahead with it only giving them my details they asked for. Today i recieved an email saying the claim had been processed, ive ive checked my account and the money is there. Just at the right time too in the longest month of the year lol. Would recommend!!

Had an excellent experience with Barings over my carphone warehouse claim. Filled in forms online had an email back saying i had won my claim bit dubious over the information they requested on the form but sent it back and had my compensation in my bank within 2 days of sending back info

Fantastic, quick and efficient service. Received my compensation without any difficulty and I had to do nothing except log initial information and then provide details to receive the money.

Once the claim is 'won' and they are ready to transfer the money, Barings Anti-Money-Laundering form is a bit odd and asks for (in my opinion) some unnecessary information which left me feeling slightly sceptical but I didn't fill all of this in and still received my refund within 4 working days.

I would definitely use Barings in the future.

Constant emails and phone calls even though I have expressly told them I DO NOT need nor want their services, they just keep on coming! Rude, pushy and extremely unprofessional. Steer well clear. To the folk that commented you can't leave a comment on their fb page, you can. Just search them and click review........

This has got to be the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with, blanking questions like can I have a number to call, employee that no longer works there asking for bank details and then I bring it up over the phone and they oh yes it was just a mistake, and then not picking up the phone for a hour after saying you would call right back, now waiting 10 mins for a call back, never a sorry, I have reported to the police and they just say that's okay, well pay the money you owe and then we don't have to waste mine and the polices time, stay away is all I can say
