Huge selection. Disappointed with coupon....only good on regular price items. Prices a bit high. Staff out in the outdoor plant area were hard to find.

Awesome place! It was huge! So huge I have to go back because I didnt even make a dent. A little pricey, but that's bachmans in general. They had a little vintage market thing going on too. That was done really well and featured quite a few local vendors.

Can be pricy but ways has what I'm looking for when it is difficult to find at other garden shops

Beautiful place to visit and explore. Really awesome floral shop to spend some time. There's also different kind of lotion to choose, etc.

The cafe inside of Bachman's was a nice surprise. I enjoyed an apple pastry and coffee at Patrick's cafe before I started shopping. It has a nice, quiet atmosphere that is indoors with the feel of being outdoors. Bachman's has the basics for your plants and yard. If you are looking for aquatic plants or advice for aquatics, surprisingly, this is not the place to go. I went with questions regarding my water lillies as well as to buy soil for them and they were not able to help.

I m quite disappointed! I called 2 minutes after the store opened and was put on hold with a recording saying I am in position 1 in the queue. The time shows that I ve been on hold now for 29 minutes. When do I give up and assume Bachman s does not answer their phone? ....I was just disconnected (no person, just disconnected)!!!!! Wow! I used to have a deep respect for Bachmans.

I called back and tried the customer service department (different from above). The gentleman was very kind and was transferring me to the department I needed and accidentally disconnected me. I again called back and then entered the CS queue. I m done!! To those of you reading this-don t even try!!

This place is heaven. Always a 5 star experience for me!

I bought a plant for my new apartment. When I got there I parked in tiny lot and walked inside. I was surrounded by elderly people swarming knick-knacks. I was confused because it smelled like a plants house. Turns out there is a huge parking lot on the other side that goes to the green house area. I almost bought a wooden mallard that was poorly detailed.

My plant is good though.

Awesome!... the winter farmers market at Bachman's is a very satisfying reprieve from the January cabin fever... if you've never been ... treat yourself.

One of the best places in the Twin Cities to find flowers plants and other garden goods. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they make you feel like a valued customer.

I really appreciate all the health and safety measures they're taking here! I love that they sanitize all the carts. This was the first enjoyable in-store shopping experience I've had anywhere in a long time.

Bachmans can be hit or miss. Sometimes they have what you want and sometimes it's a decent price. Other times, it is ridiculously expensive and all the plants look mostly dead.
It is a good place to stop but don't rely on them if you need something.

Did not receive the email confirmation for my order they promised. Said they were sending it is we spoke, but no such thing. Sure hope the flowers were ordered and will be delivered..

I love this place! Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. It is also my secret spot for working during cold MN days...almost feels like I am outside in a tropical environment. They have a decent coffee and pastry shop.

This is a full service garden store . Great plant selection for landscaping and gradening , I have had success with the tomato , pepper and other garden plants and peony and various flowers . They carry all the tools you could want as well as the soil testers and fixers . If you want to grow from seed they have that too . Most years I get something from them . Very helpful people that have the inventory to supply most needs .

I love that you can get personal service regarding plant purchases and the safety and responsible ownership of safe plants for pet owners!

Lady behind bakery register very rude and verbally short bachmans greenhouse seemed dirty old and antiquated hasent changed in twenty years

I came to Bachman s just looking to replace a succulent my cat had befriended and ended up coming home with 3 more plants. Their selection is wonderful and the employees are so kind and helpful. I definately plan on returning in the spring for more.

The Holiday Open House was fun and can't wait till next year again.

5/28/2017: They have everything you could possibly want for any garden project. The Master Gardeners are an excellent resource.

Pro tip: call ahead and give them your list and they'll have everything loaded on a cart. All you have to do is check out.

This place was like a winter wonderland! The house tour was super cool (and cheap) and the baubles and brick-a-brack in the store were creative, unique, and not as pricey as expected. Looking forward to seeing what the other 2 seasons offer!

Excellent service wonderful flowers with reasonable prices

I love the selection of flowers, premade floral arrangements, and gifts they offer. The plant selection door in ground planting is very varied and well taken care of. I have used their return services for outdoor plants before and found them to stand behind their word. They strive to have high quality plants.

Selection of indoor plants was delightful. Cafe was perfect! My first trip with my two girls was wonderful, staff was friendly and helpful.

Great experience. We use bachmanns for all of our plants because they are always quality. The product and the service are always excellent. I checked out their hardscapes area for help building a patio. Prices were right, and the sales guy Justin was awesome. He was great, and helped me a ton. I'm always going to bachmanns for all my jobs.

Enjoyed lunch at the French restaurant. The pastry is fabulous! Flakey and light. Service exceptional. Prices are average for a restaurant.

Ordered our flowers for our wedding in August. The flowers turned out beautiful. Everything was ready for our day when my husband went and picked them up.

Good range of cut flowers, home & garden. Patrick's Cafe: in house, quality French croissants. Good place to wander on a cold wintery day.

Waited in line for 30 minutes to be told i needed to have a cart to checkout. I understand that this is a new procedure due to covid. But there were no signs to indicate this at the front of the store, nor were there carts at the front. I did see one staff member upon entering who did not mention anything. Wound up not being able to get plants I was hopinh to give as gifts due to time restraints. Super frustrating.

Such a beautiful place to go. Even if you aren't shopping, you can go and look at different plants and scenery. Friendly faces. Definitely would recommend this location!

Been going here since Macy's closed in downtown Minneapolis. They have a great Santa program, nice wreaths, reindeer, and free photos with Santa. It will continue to be a part of our Christmas tradition for years to come even though it's a 45min drive. Please keep it up!

Absolutely amazing! I ve had the most wonderful experiences with Bachman's. Very knowledgeable and kind staff. Amy who works in the live plant area is fantastic. I ve been able to find very unique plants that cannot be found anywhere else in the Twin Cities. The plants are always in fantastic condition and staff is eager to help with any questions. Highly recommend!

I love their huge selection of high quality personal care and clothes for women in the South wing!

There might be less expensive stores for the things they carry but I believe their plant stock is top notch and I have the least amount of die off from the plants I buy from them than from any other store. Besides their garden stock, they have a nice selection of plant containers, flowering (indoor) plants, small houseplants and terrarium plants. My husband got me a pot of blooming spring bulbs one Valentines Day that lasted for weeks and smelled wonderful. I don't shop their gift area much but it's definitely worth a look around if one is gift shopping (they also have a decent selection of greeting cards). In March, it's our yearly ritual - when we are totally fed up with winter - to go get some coffee and treats at Patrick's Cafe and sit in their greenhouse 'street cafe' area smelling greenery and flowers and watching the occasional sparrow that's found its way in - pretending, for a time, that spring has arrived. On the way out, we buy a flowering plant to help keep our spirits high till spring finally comes, for real, to Minnesota.

Prices are high, plants are just ok and service is mediocre. There are better options in the TC.

This is a huge store with tons of plants and outdoor/indoor decor items. Friendly service and great selection of plants/flowers at good prices.
