Good management of social distancing on the queues and generally inside the store, though that comes down more to how considerate the other shoppers are. I found everyone to be very considerate of others. The store did seem a little under stacked and some of the things I went for weren't available.
Can't give it a higher rating this time. Went there especially to buy a sheet of timber and have it cut. Timber saw was out of action though...
Less crouded than it has been. Stock levels of some items a bit low especially some shades of paint. Other than that not bad. Nice range of plant's.
I have been to few b&q places and this is the best so far. Excellent service and best display.
Big B and Q with plenty of stocks and the staff were helpful
Not the same since they took away the 10pc discount for over 60's

Nothing was too much trouble and the help and advice given was most welcome. Particular thanks to Richard in paint dep't, Nathan in plumbing, Mike on tills and Jacob for helping me to my car with heavy purchases.

No signs outside saying that you can't pay in cash so they make the public you up for half an hour go around the shop to get a wheel stuff get to the till and find out you can't pay with cash Ash

Generally you can get what you need. Queues can be long but due to Covid 19 it's to be expected

No line to get in, plenty of helpful staff and all the stock I needed. Having wasted my time in Wicks it was a pleasure to be treated like a valued customer. Heading here first in future.
When in to get a plant tub, came away with a better one then I was looking for. A very nice red one that will look fab outside my front door. Staff very helpful new man called Steve couldn't do enough

Best place to get colour matched paint, friendly staff and quick service, B&Q seems to have the best results for colour matching, tried homebase and Thier best match options weren't right, B&Q match was spot on match first time!
Awful management. Completed forms for a call back for them to try and redeem themselves but no one bothers to follow up. Management chewing gum and snorting whilst speaking to you about a serious matter... this is absolutely disgusting. Something needs to be sorted in this store. Will not be back.

Having to travel to Southampton to collect the item I went to my son's for lunch checked the item and found no fixings in the box very poor b&q not happy.

place is decent. only bad things were the staff just did not know where their wall mounts for tv and monitors were, we went upstairs, a staff member told us it was downstairs. A man near hardware told us it was in the electricals isle then a guy there told us it was upstairs at the far end. Then we ...

Waited for over an hour told sorry I'm on my own won't be long then went off to 29 to 15 minutes came back and said has anyone served you spent a lot of money with them on kitchen and bathroom voted with my feet and left orderd shower on line from another company
Standard B&Q, it only 4 stars as 9mm MDF was out of stock and some dropped screws in the car park could of caused punctures
This B&Q is very well stock and the staff are very helpful.
Had to come here from Portsmouth to get some paint that had sold out in Pompey , they had loads of it

As with almost all B&Q, a bit more expensive than shopping around if you have time. Convenient and has a wide range of stock from builders goods through normal hardware to gardening.
