Aon affinity travel practice

The insurance is a total scam. We qualified for a refund according to their agreement, and they found a lame and not valid the reason not to refund us. Don't waste your money. Air companies will refund you if the reason is valid.

Planned a trip for me, my sister, and my niece. 2 days prior, I developed a terrible ear infection, lost my equilibrium, and ruptured my ear drum. Canceled the cruise, went home, got in to my doctor as soon as possible. The first appointment available was Friday at 9am. we were scheduled to sail on Thursday, i canceled late Tuesday. As a grown adult, i know better than to go to an emergency room for an ear infection, and took otc meds to minimize my discomfort until my dr could see me. Immediately after my appointment, I filed a claim. It was denied within minutes. Everyone I talked to stated that there was no valid reason to deny it, but they did not have the authority to change it. Sitting in limbo waiting to see if someone actually calls me back right now. Biggest scam around, this company is completely worthless!

This company is the worst. Me and my family was supposed to go on our first trip as a family for our birthdays, but unfortunately we lost our brother two weeks prior and his funeral was the day we were scheduled to leave. Not only have my family experience this tragedy and had the worst birthday ever. But we lost a lot of money and the little bit of security I thought I did have was a scam. I submitted the obituary and constantly called because by 4 weeks I have not had anyone reach out to me an anyway. I m really upset and don t want to constantly talk about our love ones death but I really need my back and don t know what else to do besides take another lost. I wonder how they customer service reps sleep with knowing they lying to people and holding their hard earned money.

The claim process is easy, the outcome and final payment not as advertised, I had a car accident, I pay the repair amount to the car rental company for $307, I received a reimbursement of just $264, the explanation I receive from them is the do not reimburse car rental company "extra charges" , like repair bill taxes or car rental fees for car accidents, among others. Not worth the hassle, for like $10 more, it is better the car rental company insurance .

BEWARE: DO NOT BUY TRAVEL INSURANCE THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!! THEY WILL MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU TO GET ANY REIMBURSEMNT FOR A CANCELLED TRIP!! EVEN WITH THE CURRENT SITUATION...THEY WILL NOT PAY FOR CANCELLED TRIPS!!! I will NEVER purchase insurance through this company again! My daughter was hired for a job that was cancelled because of the current crisis and was told by Aon Affinity that they will NOT reimburse our flight even though we paid for insurance because she was NOT employed by the company that hired for over a year AND because we did not wait 30 days AFTER buying the insurance plan to cancel the trip. My daughter is an entertainer....she will never be employed by the same company for over a year because she is hired as an entertainer for a period of time but of course, Aon Affinity does not account for such employment. If you are looking to be insured during these perilous times or ANY other time, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND WILL DO EVEYTHING THEY CAN TO NOT REIMBURSE YOU!!!

I wish I could leave this review with NO stars... I have been dealing with Aon for over 15 months now waiting for my reimbursement check. My travel claim was approved and the company told me they had sent a check. After months of calling the company (and being hung up on several times) I was informed my check (which i never received) had been fraudulently cashed at a TB Bank by someone else. After a year, I am still calling Aon monthly to check in with the status of the affidavit I signed and mailed to them, in which they "claim" they will present to TB bank and deal with the legalities of the bankers fraud. I am BEYOND appalled by the lack of service this company has provided and I think there should be an investigation into the company to make sure they are in fact providing services they claim they provide, to people who pay GOOD money for coverage.

No refund on my disabled sons Disneyland vacation even though they are not open! So anger that a company is willing to make money off of COVID and disabled people whom are on a fixed income.

This company is a SCAM DO NOT BUY INSURANCE WITH THEM, THEY ONLY TAKE YOUR MONEY , CHECK THE REVIEWS ON THE BBB SITE IS OVER 150 COMPLAINTS.

I wish I could give this company 0 Stars. Horrible and worthless company. I bought their insurance through hopper. My flight was cancelled which I had no control over and they refused to refund the insurance I opted in through hopper. No flight took place so you would assume your money would be refunded. According to AON insurance, they will not refund your money back even if your flight was cancelled. I will never deal with this company again and will make it aware to others so they don't purchase AON insurance and make the same mistake!

When you call this number, no one ever answers. Legitimate insurance companies answer their phones. When you try to file a claim through their website, it just times out when you try to submit. Something very shady about them.
