One of the best places to eat sushi! Great atmosphere with open kitchen that allows to see all the preparation of sushi.

The sushi tastes great, and is prepared infront of a few of the tables. The menu composition combines many different styles and tastes over several delicious looking dishes, giving you several choices on what you want to eat. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Some days can be busy, so if you are planning to visit, getting a reservation is an easy way to make sure you get a seat. The reservation system is easy to navigate and quick to set you up with a reservation.

Really great sushi in Oslo. Worth a visit (and also Omakase restaurant which is a totally different dining experience).

Good service at the table but slow food. A couple of dishes stand out: tempura salad and king crab maki. The rest was similar to other sushi places in Oslo/Norway.

A Some of the best sushi in Oslo from a retail store. The offerings of Alex draws a crowd for a reason, it has a very pure authentic taste and they have a wide variety of options. If you want quality sushi definitely check this place out!

Such high standard, set high expectations. Delicious food, but missing the extra finesse in souses and personal touch.

Got a nice spot at the bar and had the 9 serving omakase. A fantastic treat with high quality fish. Sitting in the bar adds a personal touch to the dining experience as you get to interact with your chef. The sushi was great, and if you think you can't get full from sushi, you're wrong. At Alex they serve BIG portions. Too big even. Don't eat anything before!
