Alamo Bar

Tried out the Alamo for the first time after hearing about it several times from friends and family. It exceeded all expectations. It's bigger inside than it looks from the outside which makes it great for live music. The interior decor is phenomenal for the area as well. An great beer selection and wide variety of food items puts them over the top. I couldn't recommend this enough!

Went for lunch on a Friday, food was quite good. One fish fry and one fish taco. It wasnt busy, service took a bit to get to us initially. Only downside.

This place is a great place to bring friends to eat and have a good time! The staff go above and beyond to make sure you have a great time.

Our first time here, it was excellent. I had the Reuben and my wife had the sliders....both were excellent! Service was great. Will definitely be back.

Omg!!! First time going! Went for lunch, it was fabulous! The portions are unbelievable, I had the Ahi Tuna Salald! It was the best salad I ever had!! Daughter had the Rubin Sandwich with tater tots, HUGE!!! And wine slushies!! Atmosphere is great also! Great out door seating with fire pits! I highly recommend this place!!

Great local place.any different beers including craft beer. Interesting and pretty good food selection. I haven't tried many things off the menu bc I know I want the awesome garlic wings. Eat in or take out. New deck looks awesome, I haven't been out there yet. Not a lot of places to sit so go early if you want a table. It can get wild with the younger crowd later. Friendly atmosphere

This place never disappoints. Always enjoy stopping when we're in town. Great service, food, atmosphere. And the remodel turned out amazing and very functional. See you next time!

For such a small town this was kick butt bar food! And they made me a fabulous margarita like I asked, no mix, yuk, patron silver, lime juice and triple Sec on the rocks with a salted rim. It was the first time the gal ever made one and I had three they were so good!

Remodel was a great improvement. Outside seating will be loved come springtime

Thankfully we had reservations on an extremely busy Friday night. The food was delicious.

We went on a busy Friday night. I had im'd earlier to see if it was kid friendly. I was assured it was. It really isnt. The tables are sparse so finding one was difficult. On the plus side, food was good large portions and tasty. Waitress was wonderful

I love their food...they have the best hostess/bartender Mercedes Moody that works there. I stop in for there Everything Wings. These guys know how to create a fantastic menu. If you are ever in Poland, NY and driving thru via RT 28 stop in. You will not be disappointed. Nice, friendly, small town atmosphere.

First time back after they remodeled. Nice setup. Had the chicken fajita wrap, with a Saranac draft, food was excellent.

Great bar food is good just be careful with any food the is deep fried. Last time I had onion rings I didn't feel good after.

I love this place, there s always something fun going on, great beers on tap that get switched frequently. Friendly staff and customers, excellent food and an all around great atmosphere and place to be! The outside porch will be awesome during the spring and summer!

Ambiance was super nice, renovated interior looks amazing. A beer keg urinal in mens room. to the half eaten by a beaver tree etc looked great. The food was amazing, all fresh, hot tasty and served up very quickly. everyone at our table was exceptionally pleased and planning a return trip with other family members.

Look, if you're looking for a beer, it's good for that. Locals rave over the food, but it's like a Poland 5 which is like a world's 2 at best. Statistically, I can't ALWAYS have issues with the food, but I do. The last straw being the long hair half in my mouth half in my brisket taco. I'm saying it was like 12-15". So go there for the drinks, don't stray from the fried food, don't do anything fancy.

This place is happening. They surprised me by haveing all these wonderful speciality drinks like a bloodymary with all kinds of veggies and a small sausage in it...
A jalapeno martini was delicious...
The bar has plenty of room, wonderful deco.
Staff was friendly and fast.

We really enjoy coming to The Alamo. The menu has a lot of options. Prime Rib usually on weekends. Burgers, pizza, wings, tacos, salads and some seafood. Draft beer and Cider both on tap, which is nice. The staff are very courteous and attentive. During COVID, we don't sit inside at any restaurants. The Alamo has a nice porch for outdoor dining. Nice place.

Who would have thought you'd get that many people partying in a tiny town bar!

Recently renovated. Layout of bar and tables makes for a good scene. Barmaid are friendly and fun. Beer prices are very reasonable and they have a good selection of both beer and liquor. Definitely reccomend stopping here for dinner or a few drinks. Close to herkimer and barneveld.

Best chicken wings I ever had! They have a special on them on Wednesday at $6 for 12 wings! Great service and good atmosphere to go with it

Accuses paying customers of not paying then when you call the owner he acts like he cares asks you to come back and calls you a liar when you get there worst customer service ever

Adorable little bar and restaurant! Food was fantastic-- even have a number of lower carb options. Quick service even with a larger (7) group eating. We'll be coming back!
