Musical extravaganza with T'pau after the racing, by the time we had walked up from the West Tip stand the bars had closed (6pm) . What sort of festival is that ??
Takes forever to get served even when you ve paid a fortune for a ticket and go few toilets. Been National for 15 years princess royal regular
Very good had a great day in the kitchens
EXCELLENT
Unbelievable day out if you can get a few people together, great buzz about the place especially on a nice sunny day, bars and take outs are everywhere so dont worry about starving yourself selection of all foods.
Bars every 100 metres and also coffee place available.
Highly recommended, when you go once you will always go back again.
The best racecourse in the UK. The grand national meeting is excellent.
Expensive for drinks but hey you have to expect that.. if you go once you will go time and time again..
Attended a function here and one I'll always remember
Went ladies day personally wont go again to packed queuing all day was not enjoyable day ..
Its a retail park with plenty of shops not much else to say on it other than that
I came for an unrelated event so couldn't see any actually horse shooting but I understand this is the best place in the area to come for horses being shot. The coffee was somewhat overpriced.
Great day out but difficult to get food and drink due to disorganised staffing more outside drink sales needed for the demand on the Steeple Chase side
Its been a while since I've been, but its a good day out, especially when you win like I WON on the grand National in ,2018
Nice track and plenty of bookies. Can be very busy on National day but will get served with food and drink fairly quickly as enough staff to cater for all. Function room is nice with good food but very expensive.
Great venue for celebration parties, with entertainment, good food and drink.
Nice area and great Racecourse,, watched the showjumping in the inside arena and was really good.
Been here several times over the years. More facilities/ chance to walk inside of Grand National course at the Grand National meeting but meeting more crowded than all others. October meeting is family/ countryside day with several attractions. December meeting features 2 races over the Grand National fences whilst the evening meetings in May and June usually have either live music or a DJ after racing. Grand National meeting takes place in April with one race each day (Foxhunter's 'Chase on Thursday and Topham 'Chase on Friday) over the Grand National fences with the Randox Health Grand National on the Saturday. Good value tickets for non Grand National meetings but tickets can be expensive for the Grand National meeting especially Grand National Day.
Racecourse was great but not enough bars open. Hence big queues.
Another example of a racecourse completly ignoring the licencing laws.
Oh yes, the racing was excellent.
Bars really busy due to UB40 Concert after racing. Great night out atmosphere good as well
The atmosphere was charismatic. I would suggest that everyone should go out to Aintree just once. Father promised me that he would take me when I was older, but died of a heart attack. So I waited for 20 years to experience the the thrill of it all. Harry Evans can now rest in peace. His youngest daughter loves the horses too. Getting ready for ladies day at ascot. Can,t wait. Xxx
What a night 5 stars excellent entertainment and food.
First time for me :) lovely time it was wonderful. Rain spoiled nothing for us. looking forward to going today already thinking of coming next year. Worth travelling from malta for.
Amazing grand national weekend....
Ladies day very good.....Lots to do very busy as you would expect...
Lots of staff etc to help with info etc
Aintree should be a 5 star experience but sadly it is let down by only one thing... The lack of toilets
As a regular race goer who loves the big meetings, one thing in horse racing needs to be addressed is access to toilets.
Me and My Family and Friends went to Ladies Day and truly enjoyed the day, but felt sorry for all the Ladies who were stuck in queues for the toilets, one or two of them in desper going into the Mens toilet.
Urgent action is needed on this as simply it's no way to treat a lady.
superb racecourse set in Liverpool.

Perfect place to be on grand national day love this place
Had an amazing day at the Grand National. I felt safe with the amount of security but, also everyone was so friendly. Made my day, year, life actually being there on National day right near the winning post .
Good day had at the memory walk .lots of rain but didn't dampen the spirits of the hearty walkers.my friend came in about twentieth position which is good for a young filly at aintree so she won't be pulling the milk cart next week great turnout by all and well deserved applause for a worthy cause
Great day out , great facilities, easy to get to and from .
Brilliant day at the races, fab party atmosphere, food, drinks and a chance to win a few Bob, get your glad rags on and get down to Aintree for a great experience.
Great day at the racing ....only one thing that I was dissatisfied with....nowhere to sit in the Irish Bar...bit cold outside so inbetween races we came in from the cold and by the last race my right knee was killing me no chairs or benches so had to suffer until we got back on the coach...other than that no complaints.
Great day out at the Grand National. Been nearly every year for the past 15 years. Now go to the Lord Daresbury stand on the roof. Great view of the course and right by the finish line.
diverse range of activities take place here Golf, motor Racing Hospitality Equestrian Events weddings and of Course horse racing all very well organised
Never been here before when it's had no horses or horse related equipment here .
Went there for a covid test. Straight in and out. 10/10 got the result 30 minutes later by text and it was negative.
