Nice, open aired, office sharing community with several nooks and crannies for when you need your space. Helpful staff, great coffee, and a wonderful environment.

Great daily place to work and mingle with other entrepreneurs. Coffee is amazing and there are several private spaces to have client meetings. Location is central to Uptown and there is plenty of parking.

Advent is a nice place to hold a client meeting. The small conference room was the right size for my needs. The large tv made presenting anything on the computer so much easier to see. The price per hour is the best in the city and you do not have to be a member. I would use this place again in the future.

I looked at all the Coworking spaces in town, and it was an easy decision to join Advent. They ve managed to find the right balance of space, resources, culture, vibe, energy, and staff to make it feel like the perfect workspace. Kevin and the staff are somehow both super chill and eager to help. The expansions have added offices, more nooks and crannies to use if you need some privacy, decked out meeting rooms. If you re freelancing, starting a new business, or working remotely there s no better place in Charlotte to support you.

This place is really congested wirh parking and confusing as far as the entrance to the location but it is an okay little spot

I've been working at Advent for over a year and it's not only a great place to work, it's a community. You can come in and focus on work and keep your head down or you can get involved with the community and get to know other professionals in the CLT area - it's up to you. The best part? FREE YOGA most weekdays during lunch - you can't beat it!

Poor network speed and heavy construction were going on the day I visited. Not the most conducive environment for conference call or podcasting. It did not make a very good first impression. I certainly hope that it was an anomaly.

Easy access and space for networking inside and outside

I love advent. I've been there since the doors opened and it has helped me in so many ways as a small business owner. I'm an extrovert and love being around people, so advent has helped me not to feel isolated. The people are great and the services are professional. I have come to view my cosharing crew as my "co-workers." We go to lunch together sometimes, go bike riding every Tuesday and hold events in the evenings. Whenever I have a business need/question, there is usually someone there that has the answer. The conference and event space are great to use. Kevin and Ryan, the owners, are awesome and super friendly. Highly recommend it.

Absolutely the Google atmosphere in Charlotte NC. One of the best in Inclusive Diversity. Humbly fun atmoshpere. Networking is the normal here. And not just that, the artistry of walls painted by different walks of life, the amenities, ooooh the amentities; CrossFit, coffee bar, Catawba Brewery (although they are not affiliated, same building) and a indoor skate park just to name a few. Indulge in an environment of inclusion, networking and plain old business minded locals that makes a day at the office seem like a day at the beach; without the sweet sounds of crashing waves, breezy crisp-like winds and sand well in that case, let's just say it's a awesome co-working Center that has plenty of potential. Call in for a tour, I'm sure you will be pleased then become a member and join the newest 'culture' of workplace diversity.

Love the co-working space here. It's decorated so thoughtfully. The staff is wonderful. The other people who work here are friendly and welcoming. They work really hard to create a community feel and a culture of pleasantness.

Good place to work. It's not polished as We work but has a community feel to it. Also a venue for lot of active meetups in Charlotte, including the Google Developer Group and several others. If you are involved in the Charlotte Tech Community, you can't miss this place.

I LOVE that place!!!! EVERYTHING you need to succeed is their for the small business owner. I mean everything!!! Even the professionals there are perfect! They are smiling atcha or minding thier own business.

Coffee, bicycling stations podcast rooms, telephone boxes for private calls, coaching/group space, business mixers, business cards parking lot...... Anything you can think of to help the small business owner get ahead is there!!!! Small details galore on top of beautiful workstations!!!

And the packages are nicely priced.

Could you ask for a more creative space? The Advent Coworking staff was so welcoming when I stopped in as I was passing through.

It was clean and very open. The AC was blasting and I was freezing but I don't blame anyone for that.

I've been with Advent Coworking for less than a month, but I regret I did not start working there sooner.

Co-founders Ryan Mitchell and Kevin Giriunas together with their community manager Ali Washburn are doing all the right things to foster the community. For example, they organize joint activities such a biking on Tuesdays with a professional bike riding instructor (free) or having lunch together on Wednesday and Fridays. Their friendly attitude and willingness to go out of their way to help their new members surprised me a lot.

Other professionals who work at Advent have been very supportive and helpful in getting me started in the right direction.

Great building. There is an indoor skate park! Plus the podcasting space was awesome!!

I record a podcast in their studio and could not be happier. From the studio space to the training we received, everything has been top-notch. The facility is always clean and the equipment is amazing. I could not imagine us recording anywhere else.

Went here for a community meeting - so I don't work in this space. It was a nice spot for a meeting though!

I love this place. The owners and members are just the most friendly people. I really do like the idea of having a place where all different kinds of people who work out of their home can come and sorta work in a communal place. The facilities are just so fun. From the ball pit to the swing. All te way to the table of legos. The whole atmosphere is really relaxed. Not to also mention all the group activities that are planned for everyone at the office to participate in.

Definitely one of the best co-working spots in town for freelancers, creatives, and other solopreneurs. The place has a great vibe, the right amenities, convenient parking, and a wonderful community of other like-minded people you can interact with as little or as much as you want. I highly recommend it!

Parking was a pain. The meeting room was crowded. When the time slot ended we all had to leave so there was no time for followup.

I truly enjoy using this space to work. The staff at Advent is attentive, helpful and always thinking of ways to make our work environment better. The space is welcoming and fosters a productive work day. I have been able to take advantage of the member only events which have allowed me to learn new things and meet new people. I highly recommend Advent !!!

Came from out of town and needed a place to work for a few hours. I have never been at a coworking place that was so inclusive from the moment I walked in. These guys are top notch.

The space is light and clean. The people are friendly but everyone knows when you need to get your work done. The sound proof phone booths are great when you need to make a call. The conference rooms are nice. I love the location. Plus they always do things like group Yoga, bike rides or bag lunches to help break of the day and give you a chance to interact with your fellow co-workers. I highly recommend it is you are not looking for a sterile environment to work.

Awesome environment and quiet places to get work done.

I've been a member for almost 4 years and hands down it's some of the best money I've spent for my business. Great community where we share ideas, collaborate and connect, plus lunch and happy hour gatherings. Great space to work and record my podcast. Great staff to keep things humming. Great ongoing events like F'Up Night, Triple Threat Panel and Tech Talks to learn and grow. I highly recommend joining Advent Coworking.

A great place to rent space for meetings and workshops

I was visiting Charlotte from Texas and needed a space to work and Advent delivered! Accommodates everything you need to have a productive day, but completely enhanced with local art and charisma. Sam was so kind and welcoming.

I totally love Advent Coworking. I have rented space from them 3 times to host workshops. I love the online reservation system and when I have questions they are answered via email within 24 hours. Lovely look, feel, and atmosphere. I feel safe and professional. I do plan on increasing my rentals in 2017! #LadyBizness approved

Rented a space for a meeting. And was luckily able to do it at the last minute before my meeting started. Very clean! And convenient. Great space and the layout looks awesome. Definitely would recommend.

Comfortable. Peaceful place to be productive. Variety of nooks and crannies for working in. Clean. VERY well run. Tried out other coworking spaces in Charlotte and Advent is by far the best.

I came in for a job fair that day and I fell in love. I absolutely ADORE this place. Please be sure to check out the website for pricing info. But I really love the relaxing yet busy energy that this space has. The decor gives me a "metro/city vibe. My tour guide was AMAZING. SHE WAS ACTUALLY ONE OF THE MANAGERS. She even gave me a little history about the location. I would recommend Advent co-working to anyone that doesn't have pets nor children with them at the present moment. I have children but even my "avid reading" daughter would love it here as well. It's a must see. MEMBERS OR INVITE ONLY. THE SECURITY FEATURES WON'T ALLOW YOU TO ENTER WITHOUT IT.

1 - Kevin and Ryan: The founders are local, friendly, community-building fellows that are actually on-site and ready to help you at a moment's notice
2 - Event Space: Whether attending an event (or hosting one), this is a great spot to get a great price and unlimited parking - your guests will thank you for it!
3 - Podcasting Studio: Even though my personal podcast experiment was just to "learn the ropes", this space makes it easy to create a great sounding product
4 - Ammenities: I love the quality of the coffee, the awesome artwork on the walls that is always changing, the ability to rent a locker to keep some items on-site, the private calling booths and the abilty to rent the conference room for client meetings
5 - The Members: Advent Coworking members really get to know one another and look for ways to do business and refer clients to one another . . . there is just no match for a supportive community for an entrepreneur

Advent is a game changer.. so much more than an alternative to working from home. It's a meeting of minds and a magnet of opportunity. It can be a community think tank you step in and out of at your own leisure or it can be a quiet hole to bury yourself in a get work done. It's the people, the space, the art, the amenities, the free coffee, the free snacks, the free beer, the ping pong, the music, the legos, the events, and the management team that bends over backward to make you feel at home. My productivity has increased exponentially since separating home and office and spending my days in Plaza Midwood at Advent. Can't speak highly enough about Kevin and Ryan. They nailed it.

I work entirely freelance, and working from home was beginning to drive me crazy. Having a brick-and-mortar space to associate with work has been fantastic, and the community here is great. The space is clean and bright, and definitely isn't the stereotypical office atmosphere. No flickering fluorescent lights or cubicles, just big tables, lots of natural light and great coffee. I've thoroughly enjoyed working here and getting to know the people working here with me. I highly recommend giving it a shot if you're looking for a work space to call your own.

Amazing co-working space. We enjoyed our membership there, we made a lot use of the podcasting studio.
We have designed our own studio at home to save travel time & a little money, but intend to use the space for future events and attend their networking nights. Great creative community and vibe.
