It was my first time for lunch at 6 Smith. I enjoyed being in an old boathouse space. The sandwiches, fries and clam chowder were supurb. I was a little disappointed in their craft cocktail menu. I didnt see anything that really stood out so I had an Aviation martini. It was good, but my brother and I make them so much better. Here's my Aviation!

We made last minute reservations for a large group for a Sunday brunch, and we were extremely well taken care of! The party room was beautiful, service was delightful and good was fantastic. Everyone in our party was more than pleased. I would definitely come back here again and would definitely consider it for all party needs. Excellent place!

Wanted to go somewhere special with a view and good food for my girlfriend's birthday and this place did not disappoint. The service was good, the food was amazing and the view outside was beautiful too regardless of the lake still being frozen over. I plan on going again soon to get some more calamari and views of the lake.

Loved this restaurant. Our waiter was Ben which he was incredible, and very accommodating the whole night. He helped point us in the right direction for food, drinks and dessert. We aren t thinking about dessert but he said it was a must, which I m sure glad we listened to him. He definitely knows what wine pairs best with what you re ordering as well. That s definitely an A+ in my book! Thanks again Ben for your amazing service!

We came to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We wanted something upscale and 6Smith delivered. The food was delicious and sitting outside on the water was beautiful. Would return and would recommend this place to anyone. I am tricky since I am highly allergic to dairy and gluten yet they accommodated me and I was able to have dessert! Awesome experience!

Just returned from an incredibly disappointing birthday dinner. Service was very slow. Prices were high. Food was served cold. Sent it back to kitchen. Got it back and it was no warmer yet the server said the plates were "very hot". We touched the plate and it was cold.
The food was actually tasty but not hot.
Dessert was good. Will not go back to 6 Smith.

From our server to the menu and dishes, everything was just as I'd hoped and then some.
The views of the lake are envy-worthy, to say the least. Our dishes were masterfully crafted, the server charismatic and knowledgeable. Will definitely return many times in the future.

Kudos to 6 Smith for having a full vegan menu with 6 + choices (ask them for it). I don't think any of the other high-end restaurants in Wayzata have vegetarian entrees, let alone vegan, which is really surprising (and disappointing) these days. We love this place. A great spot to bring out of town guests. In the summer we make a reservation, go early and check-in to ask for an outdoor table, then we have a drink at the roof top bar while we wait. We've had an issue here and there and the manager swoops in to fix it. We have also held business dinners here. They have some nice spots for that too. You can dine in the bar as well if the restaurant is full. Highly recommend!

Went for a late lunch. Did not bring drink order, had to ask for it after my food came. Had the berrie salad with chicken. Bland dressing and super dry chicken. They brought us the wrong dessert. We didn't want to wait around for the right one. They comped us the beer. I would rate this place a two but the atmosphere was great and maybe it was an off day?

Showed up on a Friday and got introduced to their famous Fat Pants special. A high calorie lunch that is not shareable or available to go. No substitutions either, but for $10-12 it's an unbeatable deal!
The food here is so good that it's exactly where you should go to eat a high calorie lunch.
We have had a hamburger version of fat pants as well as a shrimp po-boy. So goooodddd!!
Brunch was awesome too btw. So much more than what is on the menu I posted.
Beautiful views of Lake Minnetonka while you done, friendly and attentive service too!!!

Very good service and a nice patio, but I thought the food was overpriced. I had the filet mignon, which was well prepared, and my wife had the swordfish. Both dishes were very good, as well as the wine and desert, but I just didn't feel that it justified the $190 bill.

We'll probably go back again because it's a great location, but likely won't eat dinner. The wings were tasty, but they literally were the smallest wings I've ever seen which was disappointing for the $13 price.

Probably a great happy hour spot.

All we wanted was one drink and a seat on the roof top with decent service. Well, we got our seat, we were greeted with a tired server (I get it) and with a very small crowd, our one and only drink took nearly 20 minutes. She did bring me another water without asking-so that was nice. No apology, no sorry our bartender forgot, or was goofing around, or was looking up how to make a bleeping gimlet. The drink was atrocious. I should of got a Stella-no wait, no Stella on tap. What? in a high-end establishment-only one of the most common beers the past decade? Not impressed at all.

For Restaurant Week we had the sea bass and salmon. The sea bass is my personal favorite from this restaurant. Tonight's bass was done to perfection. So light it was like eating air. The dry rub chicken drumsticks appetizer was also very good. Great blend of spices. The bar and restaurant were packed on a Thursday night so we are not alone in considering this as one of our go to bars and restaurants.

I believe that reservations are required, I wasn't the one to book it.
The venue is elegantly rustic and the lighting perfect for photos. Ask for Kevin for a stellar customer service, though I'm sure they're all outstanding waiters/waitresses there.
The limited vegan menu was underwhelming on paper, but it was hands down the best food I've tasted at any restaurant.
I got the avocado toast plate and the tomato soup, and for dessert a peach crumble (fyi: the oats are made in a factory not certified vegan)

I'm sorry to say the experience was very disappointing. Our reservation was for 8:00pm and our table wasn't ready until 40 minutes later. We then waited for far too long for our server to take our order. They were out of certain appetizers including the calamari which we had planned to order. Our order came well OVER an hour later. Parts were missing from our dishes and when brought to the attention of our server we received something other than what was to be provided according to the menu and was half a** to say the least. At the end of our meal our server stated they were out of desserts except for vanilla ice cream and a hideous mint blueberry ice cream. Again, disappointing for a special occasion. Needless to say it was a sad dining experience. I chose this restaurant out of many to celebrate with my loved ones and it did NOT live up to the hype, expectations or price for what we received. The host staff was rude as well. I do not plan to return. Especially for a special occasion.

Amazing Food and Service! I had the Fat Burger and low key fell in love hahaha. Also food came to the table literally 5 mins after the apps the waitress apologized for it and that is an A+ in my book. The table was decorated and we got an Happy Anniversary Card with money off for the next visit they got it done!!! My beautiful wife and I was treated very well!

After patiently waiting 15 minutes past when our food was supposed to be ready fir pick up. We get home to see that our $11 Brussels sprouts order was a total of 4 Brussels sprouts sliced in half. We have eaten here many times and that is certainly not what we are use to getting. Aside from that the food is usually very good. But this experience was quite disappointing.
