Greenery modern with stylist room & swimming pool in the mid of Chiangmai city. The pool is really great (without lot of guests) & perfect for your chic photo. The room is gorgeous with larger bathroom space with European bath tub. Staffs are attentive. You can spend time at hotel for spa, dinner & relaxation.
Breakfast is just alright but with western & Asian choices.
Parking is available but maybe you need to call & check during long weekends.

What an incredibly tranquil environment. The garden wall behind the swimming pool is terrific, not only providing privacy but also the feeling of immersion in nature.

Afternoon tea/high tea is something to behold, served in the air-conditioned comfort of the bar, with or without champagne. A must do.

With the ongoing restoration, this property is immaculately maintained and a real oasis in the city.

Beautiful place near Ping river, not far from night bazarr and poppular chic restaurant for take a night hang out or chic pub in Cheing Mai. There are only 30 rooms here and recomment book first especially in high season. Absolutely price is high as it should be.

Had a marvelous time in Chiang Mai and Pillars House was my favourite hotel during our trip. Easy walking across the Ping River to explore Chiang Mai. Food was outstanding and property was first class. Cannot wait to return and cannot recommend highly enough.

Loving this place and every decoration detail of our suite (not sure what it s called). The bed and pillows were so right and comfy for me even though my husband and my mother in law said they were a bit too soft for them, but I think this is a matter of taste. Not sure whether the hotel has a pillow menu though. Regarding the bathroom, my husband particularly loved the outdoor shower, apart from an indoor one and a baht tub. I myself loved the fact that the hotel was holding an art exhibition and that the 137 Pillars House itself has a history. It was charming. Would love to back and stay there again.

137 Pillars is the best hotel in the world. We stayed 4 nights with 2 suites. The beds are perfect, the grounds and pool are amazing and our butler, Toto, turned an amazing stay into 3 of the best days of our lives. He assists with every detail and stays 2 steps ahead. Whatever time or day or night, he schedules everything, even last minute changes. Whatever they pay him is not enough. We will go back to 137 Pillars BECASUE of Toto!! My wife, kids (ages 9 and 17) and I all loved this experience!

A very special place that I would highly recommend. Our butler Pui did everything for us. She brought us different pillow options for our beds, recommended restaurants/made reservations and booked all of our spa treatments. She also coordinated all transport to and from our destinations. We barely lifted a finger. The facilities are stunning. Bathrooms are large and perfectly decorated with every amenity. Small pool area which was actually quite nice because it never got too busy. We loved everything about this place but if I had to choose one thing, it would be the service level and the people who wait on you hand and foot to make your experience as relaxing as possible.

It was my wife's birthday. It was expensive. I've never been to anything like this in Korea, so I came to Chiang Mai for the second time and ate afternoon tea.

The first time I went to was a place called Raya Heritage, but it was more expensive and more Western-style than there.

I brought two kinds of tea and three layers of sweets, and later I asked for a bottle of water, and I paid over 1,000 and six hundred baht. So I think I paid 60,000 won.

My wife said it was 50,000 won per person in Korea, but I don't know that she didn't go there, so why didn't she come here... Oh, it's my wife's birthday. The wife is the best.

Anyway, the service is good. I spent a thousand and six hundred won. And I like the staff because they speak English well. It's a one thousand and six hundred won selling place.

In fact, the original price of afternoon tea is 1,200 baht for two people, and the service charge is a plastic chilpro bet.

It is also there where the water was dirty and expensive.

Anyway, go. I liked the interior design so I took a lot of pictures. It is considered a very useful place to show off through SNS that I am living well.

137 Pillars House is another luxury hotel in Chiang Mai that provides 5-star service. It is suitable for foreign tourists who want privacy. The interior of the hotel is divided into several small houses suitable for tourists. No need for privacy. No other people are disturbed. The hotel also offers afternoon tea sets for customers to choose from.

On the third day of coming to Chiang Mai, I decided to take a look, make a card, and have an afternoon tea. Drive from the city for about 10 minutes. The white reception hall, the small garden all the way, the weather is very good.
I saw the name of the 137 column from the teak manor. Classical and exquisite, even in April, it is very easy to blow a fan.
After drinking afternoon tea, stroll around the manor, the birds and flowers are fragrant, the swimming pool is set against a huge green wall, and the filter comes with a filter. The tall plants on the right side are full of bright red flowers, one red and one green, and the dragonfly is beautiful.
When I left, the front hall was called Fan's sister, and she was very beautiful. She took us to the holiday room, clean and tidy, classical and stylish, thank you very much. The general check-in time is 3 days in the afternoon. If the room is not cleaned up, go out and turn right to a number of chic and stylish coffee shops. The small garden shots are very nice.
In short, if you come to Chiang Mai, the 137 Pillar is just a leisure destination with friends and family.

Beautiful boutique style hotel located close to the Ping River which has a rich history in the city, the main house on the premises which is the source of the name of this property has an absolutely fascinating story attached to it. The rooms are spacious and have a real colonial charm to them.

Palette Restaurant: Tradition and modernity! Visited on 8 November 2020. You should come here even if you are not a hotel guest. In the centre of the extensive complex is the 150-year-old, huge teak house on supposedly 137 pillars. It houses the small, fine Palette Restaurant, and - not to be missed - the Parlour Lounge for the aperitif and the Jack Bains Bar for the digestive. The restaurant serves perfect Thai-French fusion cuisine in an incredibly charming atmosphere. All this has class, just like in famous traditional luxury hotels. Coupled with culinary delights, this is an attraction you will never forget.

On 5th of May 2017, around 08.30 hrs.,I went to pick up my tourists for going out on a tour in Chiang Mai.
The front desk staffs there showed their impolite negative attitude that I would say "no service mind" to me.
The way they talked was not a friendly manner. But they could quickly change their faces to be very pleasant when my tourists came to meet me.
This is not right!
The world-class hotel such as The Oriental Bangkok has always been very friendly and always offer warm hospitality to hotel's customers and anyone who go to visit at the hotel, even the local tour guides too. It's because they have "greater service minds".
It's noticeable that the staffs' attitudes towards local Thai tour guides who go to give services to their clients seem very unfriendly. That is why all of the local tour guides always wait outside around the front parking ground of the hotel.
Look from outside, 137 Pillar House is a beautiful hotel.
The poor manner that the hotel's front desks staffs express to local tour guides is unacceptable.
It really shows how the hotel train its staffs to cooperate with others in Thai tourism industry.

Ashamed!

Well-educated and well-bred people never do this.

We just went to the bar at the Pillars House. Architecture and design was excellent. Cocktail menu was truly unique and featured the best cocktails we ve had our entire visit in Thailand. Highly recommend a trip to the bar here before dinner (Happy Hour 5-7pm), well worth the trip. Don t think this place gets enough recognition for the uniqueness of their menu.

Incredible place and very beautiful !!! The service is extremely cordial and attentive. The rooms are large very well equipped and extremely clean. What we stayed in (02) was equipped with a bathtub and two showers, one internal and one external. In the daily rate of approximately 1600 reais, breakfast, minibar and nespresso coffee were included. The pool area is very beautiful and the service is perfect. Highly recommend !!!

What a setting! The historic Pillar House sets the mood. Old world charm in lush surroundings. Our room was on the small side and a bit tight for walking around the bed, but the amenities were all there including wonderful bedside plug ins, great reading lamps, bedtime stories, music, coffee, you name it, we had it! I highly recommend this hotel. It is expensive by Thai standards, but it delivers. One star off for room size, but keep in mind that the generous sized veranda added a lot space and the bathroom was luxurious in every way! The Thai staff so gracious. I'd go back for sure! Loved it!

We were having a great time in the Pillars which was a historical building. The staff are very nice and know the place well. They keep on informing us about the history of the buildings whilst we walked up to our tea house, a fabulous place for having a high tea therein. Strongly recommend to go for a high tea in 137 Pillars House Chaing Mai.

The staff at Jack Bain's bar inside the property were fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed my time sitting and reading a book (in the AC) during their generous 2-for-1 happy hour. The live pianist made the evening!! Would absolutely recommend for a pre-dinner drink. Thank you, 137 Pillars!
