PreCyte is a privately held molecular diagnostics company focused on developing minimally invasive tests for the early detection and monitoring of neurodegenerative disease and cancer. PreCyte was formed in 2014 by Prof John Aitchison, Jennifer Smith, and Robert Lipshutz, to commercialize the Indicator Cell Assay Platform (iCAP) technology developed in Dr. Aitchison's Laboratory at the Institute for Systems Biology (ISB).
