LaFASA was founded in 1982 to offer support advocates, victims and survivors of sexual assault. It is a private nonprofit coalition made up 13 sexual assault crisis centers, as well as other agencies and individuals concerned about sexual violence. We work to end sexual violence. This violence affects women, children and men, of all ages, races, income levels, lifestyles and geographic areas. LaFASA is dedicated to bringing about changes in our institutions, laws, policies, attitudes and beliefs that will allow women, children and men to live their lives free from the threat of sexual violence.<br />
