Hodder & Stoughton is a publishing group that publishes a wide range of fiction and non-fiction titles and delivers best-selling commercial books in many different formats. The company’s publishing in the early years included books from Winston Churchill, JM Barrie and GK Chesterton, and The Bible. In 1921 Hodder & Stoughton also took over ownership of the medical journal, The Lancet.
