About company
GENiSYSS is a DNA vault that allows its users to store physical DNA and related personal and medical information together on a device. Each vault has many designed wells that stores DNA samples at room temperature. The stored DNA can then be extracted and the genome sequenced at a lab of its users’ choice. Important applications could include targeted medical treatment, study of how DNA changes chemically over a lifetime, targeted health and fitness regimens, and genealogical reporting and ability to pass stored DNA to future generations. The GENiSYSS DNA Vault offers room temperature DNA storage and co-located digital data on a flash drive which is encrypted and password protected. GENiSYSS is a U.S.-based company that was founded in 2009 by Mitchell B. Frey, Richard Brownell, and William R. Anderson.
