We drove 55 minutes from home for a verified appointment with Dr. Belkoff and/or his PA. Our primary care doctor's office made the referral and the appointment for my husband, who has a 6 mm kidney stone blocking his right ureter. I called the day before to verify the appointment.
When we arrived at the office at 6320 N. La Cholla, suite 300, for his appointment, they refused to honor the appointment, citing "We do not see former patients of Dr. Barmatz."
I pointed out this had nothing to do with whom he used to see and they still refused to see him.
I will never, every recommend them to anyone. That is the worst we've ever been treated as a potential patient and if that's how it goes, then how horrible is their actual care?
