Horrible Customer Service!
I purchased a Mac Dugall dress far enough in advance of my February gala. I tried the dress on at home and was unable to fully zip it up thanks to the poor placement of their “security ribbon”. However, I noticed that I was going to have to have the train shortened. 1.5 months from the event, I finally made my way to the seamstress. Just like at home, the security ribbon was in the way of allowing the zipper to pull all the way up. The only way to try the dress on with the zipper fully closed was to cut the security ribbon. Of course, ALL of the tags still remain on the dress. I called the MD customer service to see if I can exchange the dress for one size up…. Not return. It was an emphatic NO. The young guy on the phone argued with me, stating there is no possible way.m they would place the security ribbon that would interfere with the closing the zipper. So much for my & the seamstresses first hand experience and giving the customer the benefit of the doubt. I reiterated that all of the tags still remain, and there’s no way I would’ve ever worn the dress with tags on it. His response was… Well, we have no way of knowing that! Horrible Customer Service! I will NEVER order from Mac Dugall again!
