“Time is not of the essence”. They mean it.
We were really impressed by the quality of their pitch and the recommendations they were coming with.
How wrong were we
The contract stipulates “Time is not of the essence”.
They mean it.
They combine this with a policy of invoicing first and doing the work later. One can imagine the consequences We gave up after 8-9 months. It’s been more than 18 months and we are still looking to recover some money but all we got so far is a proposal for a discount on an invoice we have never received (true story!) related to work not done
