Mixed experience-good wiring, couldn't install a single heater
We got our cabin rewired and that went well with professional service. However, I requested a 4,000 watt wall heater twice and the two electricians installed a 2,000 watt heater telling me the two heaters were the same. The small heater wasn't sufficient to heat the two rooms so we need to use space heaters which defeats the purpose of upgrading the writing and putting in a wall heater. They made a second trip and fixed the heater they installed into the pink insulation without a box, which is illegal, and added a second heater and billed me again.
If they had installed the right size heater of 4,000 watts I wouldn't have had to drive an extra 180 miles and lose five hours of work. I paid the first bill but paying twice for incompetence doesn't work for me. I suggest watching them and taking pictures as they work and get every detail in a contract. Since it's been difficult getting one heater installed, I can't imagine working on a larger project with them.
