I'm a patient, not a steer to be corraled in a waiting room.

They had me playing waiting room bingo for over 2 hours past my appointment (for a 30 second injection). They kept calling people back who got there after I did, and when I questioned this, the employee got in my face and another rolled his eyes at me. I got fed up, told them where to stick my chart, and left. I doubt I''ll go back, as this is just another terrible example of the state of healthcare in the US. I had an active kidney stone, and my pain level was around a 6 out of ten, but they don't care. They just overbook appointments, and let the patients suffer in a dark waiting room being tortured by HGTV. If I have a 1 pm appointment, I expect to be seen at 1 pm, not nearly 4 pm. I will not play this game
