I had one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever encountered. SCUM would be a compliment!
Cargo Clear handled the import of my motorcycle from the UK. from the outset they failed to provide a clear written quote, failed to disclose the total cost upfront, and repeatedly delayed or avoided providing basic documentation I requested many times.
Invoices were issued without proper breakdowns or third-party receipts, and charges were demanded that were never clearly explained or agreed to in advance. When I disputed these charges and asked for substantiation, communication stalled and my motorcycle was withheld unless I paid in full. avoided phone calls and wouldn't accept in person visits. no action to remedy the situation.
I was eventually forced to pay under protest simply to recover my own property and stop escalating storage fees — fees that arose due to their own delays and refusal to resolve the dispute properly.
Communication was poor, calls went unanswered, responses were slow or dismissive, and issues never addressed. also director / owner left Chatgpt prompt in the email when responding.
If you value transparency, clear pricing, proper documentation, or basic customer service, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I would not use Cargo Clear again under any circumstances.
