Upper bunk is not wide enough for a twin mattress
Generally the quality of the bed is great. The only problem we had was that a standard twin mattress is 39 inches wide. The upper bunk when assembled was onlly 38 and 3/4 inches wide. It's difficult enough to get a fitted sheet on an upper bunk but when the mattress is wider than the platform, it becomes impossible.
