To whom it may concern: I am writing to report an incident that occurred on 11/14/2025 time if known] at [insert location/department if known]. I approached your facility seeking help and services, believing it to be a place of haven and support. Instead, I was met with rejection and unprofessional behavior by an employee who identified himself by quickly tapping his badge—his name appeared to be Allen his Latino male Mid 20 I asked for assistance, he immediately stated it was “not part of his department” and refused to help. While I understand scope-of-duty limitations, the minimum expectation in a service-oriented environment is to direct the person to the correct resource. He did not.I was already upset due to the situation that brought me there. When I responded—admittedly with frustration—he escalated by grabbing and striking his badge while giving me attitude, as if to assert authority rather than de-escalate or assist.This interaction left me feeling dismissed, disrespected, and unsupported—directly contradicting the mission of a “place of haven. To the lady that went out of her way to consult me thank you so much for providing the information I needed. And also she’s willing to back me up as a witness.
