Someone worked hard make MeetUp horrible!
Years ago I used MeetUp to join groups. There was no subscription to use MeetUp. Some groups had dues for meetings. Recently I tried to join groups but was met with a subscription requirement (after a 7 day free trial). The software they use is horrible! It keeps wanting me to go through the setup process, which is ridiculous, over and over- always asking me to subscribe! Their site is unusable! I’ll never go there again- they aren punishing their groups by requiring subscriptions and forcing subscribers to use a completely inadequate application! NEVER AGAIN! Sheesh!
