Terrible Communication

Signs at Plymouth Car Park (next to the Aquarium) do not clearly state that payment is required in advance. We realised this on return to the car and paid retrospectively. However on receipt of the fine, we appealed explaining we had indeed paid but after the event. Realise now, we did not pay enough but received no further communication until 6 weeks later when we get a final demand notice. Due to postal issues, we got the letter 3 weeks after the date. We wrote to them again explaining we had appealed and had not heard anything after this, to receive a Debt Collection Agency notice the next day. They read out our appeal decision but this had never been communicated with us. Therefore, not only did we miss out on the discounted payment window - we also missed the final payment letter resulting in a substantial financial increase.
You can't call their Customer Service and we have only bene granted 10days extra time by the debt team to resolve. TOTAL SHAM
