I hired them for a key fob repair, and they ripped out my ignition without permission, left my car disabled, and had no proper equipment. They won’t let you speak to a manager and claim the only way to contact one is by email — but you'll never get a response. They operate under multiple names (The Right Choice Locksmith, Up & Down Garage Doors, Slick Estimates, just to name a few) and numbers, making them impossible to track. Very sketchy, do not hire them! Check BBB reviews and share to warn others. I wish I had checked with the BBB before hiring this company — it would have saved me $1,000s in car repairs. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Scammed by Sure Lock & Key – Please Read Before Calling Any Locksmith!

What was supposed to be a simple key fob repair turned into a nightmare. I contacted Sure Lock & Key LLC for help with my 2000 Mercedes S500, and the technician removed my ignition without my consent, leaving my car completely inoperable. What should have been a small repair ending up costing nearly $3,000 in damages and without transportation to get back and fourth to work.

When I reached out to the company for help, I was told the only way to reach a manager was through email. I sent several messages, but no one ever responded. Every time I called, I was routed through the same dispatch that answers under different company names, all pretending to be local locksmiths.

After doing my own research, I discovered that Sure Lock & Key is part of a larger network of locksmith companies using the same phone numbers, addresses, and people. They advertise as different businesses to confuse customers and avoid accountability.

This has caused me major financial and emotional stress, and I’m sharing my story to warn others before they fall victim to the same dishonest practices. If you’re in need of locksmith services, please do your research and avoid this company.
