Ovation insurance
Run, don't walk away from this Company
I got Ovation insurance 6 months ago and paid for a year. Within a month the sent me a notice of Cancellation because of possible sink cutoff valves were old. The gave me a couple of months to get the items. The original inspector found no problem with any plumbing , but Ovation said I needed to get the items repaired or they would cancel me. I hired a certified plumber and although he said their was nothing wrong with the plumbing I had all the valves replaced. I sent this information with pictures to my agent and he forwarded them to Ovation. Ovation refused to look at the pictures until the proposed cancelation date. When they reviewed the inspector said one sink was not to their standard. I sent additional clearer pictures but they once again said they would not review it until the next cancellation date. At the new date they cancelled my policy. I asked several times what was needed but they would not reply. They are canceling me on October 8th, 2025 and said they will refund my yearly payment.
I called my agent and asked many times what I needed to be done, but the agent never replied.
Avoid this agency if at all possible. It looks like I will have to seek legal assistance.
