Avoid at all costs!!! We contacted Mr Wright on Aug 6 2025 to inquire of his interest in drywalling our garage at 2466 Estes St. He said yes, and his associate would come by in the next day or so to take measurements for a bid. After a week's time no one came by. On Aug 17 Mr W came by and took measurements. As we also had a large tree to take down in front yard, Mr W said he could help with that as well. On Aug 18, Mr W came back with a contract for both garage and tree work. Contract is attached: $4000 for garage and $1900 for tree removal. One key factor of this agreement with Mr W was that the work needed to be completed by Sept 2 as we had renters coming into the house on Sept 3. (this is a vacation/rental property for us in Muskegon). Mr W said that would be no problem. He came back on Aug 18 with contract which we signed...to be completed by Sept 3 (again, he agreed). Tree work started Aug. 20. Mr W said it would take 2 days to complete tree work while he ordered supplies (wood shiplap vs drywall, which we had agreed to) for garage. Mr W verbally agreed to Sept 2 completion date multiple times. Mr W said the wood was being cut on and would be delivered the next Mon Aug 25. (Tree still not finished) Therefore, Mr W said they would begin garage work on Aug 27 and would take 2-3 days max, which did not happen as he said wood was still not available, but should have before the weekend and begin garage work. Aug 29, wood still not available. Mr W said he would definitely have wood to house on Sept 1. When asked about the short timing to accomplish task before Sept 3, both he and crew member promised again it would be done by end of day on Sept 2. Bottom line, wood never arrived on Sept 1 or Sept 2 so we reached out to Mr W to cancel project asking for return of $3100 (as tree job had been 1/2 done). During this time, Mr W would not reply to messages/texts and has still not replied. We left town Sept 3 and still have not heard back from Mr. Wright.
